weller54 Posted 19 November 2017 Posted 19 November 2017 Will Hughes looks decent.. And Watford playing some good stuff.

Sir Shep Posted 19 November 2017 Posted 19 November 2017 I guess we at Leicester get this new manager bounce because we at least have decent players here, West Ham are just woeful and I think will only beat us if we decide to not turn up.

Fox92 Posted 19 November 2017 Posted 19 November 2017 (edited) West Ham should have scored at least one. Edited 19 November 2017 by Fox92
Sunbury Fox Posted 19 November 2017 Posted 19 November 2017 Odd game this. Watford streets better in general play but West Ham have missed several sitters in between.
davieG Posted 19 November 2017 Posted 19 November 2017 They may be rubbish but if they best us next Friday they'll be just a point behind albeit with a dreadful goal difference.
Super_horns Posted 19 November 2017 Posted 19 November 2017 Good performance by us but Gomes did save us a couple of times. West Ham look very slow and poor at the back - Vardy should enjoy that next week. 2

Hopefully you won't lose him to Everton! 2

Wymsey Posted 19 November 2017 Posted 19 November 2017 (edited) West Ham's fixtures after against us appear tough, can't see them getting many. Everton - Away (could say they have a chance to win that, but Everton fans would probably see it as a disastrous result). Manchester City - Away (at the moment, it'd be a miracle for them to win..). Chelsea - Home. Arsenal - Home (they could have a chance here, as Arsenal do seem hit and miss). Stoke - Away. So they really must see the game against us as moreorless a 'must-win'?.. Popular Post Stadt Posted 19 November 2017 Popular Post Posted 19 November 2017 (edited) Why is the narrative about foreigners ‘taking jobs away’ rather than British managers not being good enough? There’s nothing intrinsically wrong with 442 as a formation (formations are over emphasised anyway) but look at the British coaches in the prem - Hughton, Dyche, Moyes, Hodgson, Pulis (less so Howe) are primarily defensive deep block coaches. It’s no surprise then that the top six elect for foreign managers who coach a more aggressive style of play that press well. I’ve seen a few flippant comments before about Arsenal should appoint Dyche, in his career what has done to suggest he can successfully coach a team full of attacking talent when his coaching style is about being pragmatic and getting the most out of a resolute bunch of players? A journalist on Twitter a while ago said that on a decent level coaching course done by the FA they treated pressing as if it was a fad and glanced over it whereas in Germany it’s seen as one of the fundamentals of coaching. British coaches aren’t tactically sound enough to manage at the elite level. The benefits of playing abroad are oft spoken about but managing abroad (or even gaining badges) is surely even more beneficial. Edited 19 November 2017 by Wookie 5

Now I've never broken a bone but did he seem to over react to what might turn out to be a broken hand? I've seen cricketers and the likes just walk off when suffered such injuries. I thought he was having a fit at first or at least done his shoulder. Then again one of our players was down for a while for what seemed to be not a lot early on...
