Ricey Posted 27 June 2017 Posted 27 June 2017 Mahrez would fit right in at Arsenal and I don't mean in a good way. His natural level of motivation and work rate is pretty low and he isn't particularly keen on scrapping it out. Perfect for Arsenal.

For me the term world class player is thrown around far too much and loses it's significance, if Mahrez is WC than what do you count Messi as?

Arsenal so often have proven to be flair over industry and that is Mahrez all over. They'd be better off with Albrighton; our best outfield player last season.

Dames Posted 27 June 2017 Posted 27 June 2017 This whole thing reeks of a come get me plea to Barcelona who have basically turned round and said 'No thanks' and now he's going to join Arsenal to save face which if anything is a small diagonal step upwards considering the downward trajectory they are on. He would be better off staying a season/half a season here and rebuilding his reputation. That Arsenal team doesn't have no ambition or fight in them and Mahrez isn't the type of character to change that - He'll disappear with the rest of them and his stock will plummet even further. If he goes Arsenal give it two years and he'll be joining West Ham for about £15 Million.
