Mahrez to .......................?

Sell Mahrez for £30. End up having to pay £35-45m for a average replacement.

As long as the average players performance is better than Mahrez's sub par attempt last year then they may help the team more

Need to remember other teams were paying extra attention to Mahrez giving more time and space for other players. If Mahrez leaves the others won't have as much time or space to do what they want. & im talking... Bolasie £28m, Sissoko £35m average.

I have heard Arsenal agreed at £41m , but this source I don't completely trust.

please don't shoot me on this one! I almost wasn't going to post it

If 41m is true then Dick Turpin would be proud of that... Luvvllyy jubbbllly!

While I think he's worth £50 million, £41 million would be a tidy, tidy profit and more than enough cash would be freed up to allow us to sign a replacement!

I'd get him round to play with the kids in the garden for 30 quid no probs.

Just don't abandon them after an hour if they wanna go on the trampoline is all I ask.

Perhaps Mahrez should've handed his request back in January, then interest would've been more with many big teams having to play for much and wanting someone who can add to their attacking qualities.

Would've missed out on the UCL though which was clearly his main motivation when comparing his performance with the prem

I think Mahrez has shot himself in the foot to be honest. You can't play with the attitude he has had all season and expect the big boys to still be interested. Largely doesn't matter what ability you have if your attitude stinks. And Mahrez's ability is based off of one season when the entire team played out of their skins. He's gonna end up staying, I hope we get rid though because it will be the same thing again next season otherwise. In hindsight we should have cashed in last season for about 50M but to be fair last summer I would have said keep him at any cost, but I didn't know then his attitude would be so bad this season.

I still think we're undervaluing him at £41,000,000, when you compare him to some of the deals and prices being talked about elsewhere currently.

We need to get a replacement lined up and assured before we release him.

I would rather we pass on a replacement if the same talent spotters are involved that we used a year ago.. Put the cash in the Bank or give half to OHL and the other half spend on some race horses.

People keep saying this but I don't buy it. Second half of the league winning season opposing teams knew what he was capable of and he still performed to his best.

A little intelligence from the lad to get rid of the ball quicker to find those players that were in space (as he was taking up 2 or 3 opponents) and soon enough he'd have had less people marking him.

When Mahrez sees 3 defenders in front of him - his only thought is that there is 3 players to beat.

Gray on the left, Albrighton on the right where he belongs.

Massive Floyd fan.  I am feeling 'Comfortably Numb' about our transfer activities right now.

BBC saying Italian press reporting he's close to signing for Arsenal.

Must just be hungry for that Champions League football... God if he went and we finished above Arsenal I'd laugh my ass off.

I'd love him to stay but not stay and sulk but I want £40 million minimum of GTFO.
