Mahrez stayed with us to see what we could achieve in the CL, if we'd have built better on last year he may have stayed this year but he definately deserves credit for not only staying with us when he could have easily left but also signing a bumper deal meaning we could demand a decent fee this year.

He has had one great season which we achieved the impossible, the whole squad came together and produced amazing football with mouth watering results. We had octopus in Kante, he ran the midfield like a general, clearly he is world class. Mahrez benefitted from that so did the rest of the team, Vardy was deadly in front of goal, unstoppable. Leicester City made Mahrez the player he is today, he was unheard of before Leicester plucked him Le Havre. With this in mind I think us as Leicester Fans can criticise Mahrez when and however we feel appropriate, after all we do pay his wages. Remember Mahrez owes us and Leicester City not the other way around.
