Stevosevic Posted 18 May 2017 Posted 18 May 2017 Today marks 5 years to the day that we signed JV. Pop your favourite memories in here to a Leicester legend. Aside from all the obvious PL moments, for me that goal away at QPR in the promotion season always sticks in the memory. It was a classy finish and I was certain we'd be promoted after that win.
foxfanazer Posted 18 May 2017 Posted 18 May 2017 Was gonna say the exact same thing. Never really looked like a natural finisher for us before that goal but he took it perfectly! Flick on by Nuge, burst of pace by Vards and the only place he could put it and he buried it. Scenes! Could you make a case for him being our best ever? Certainly one of my favourites
hairy Posted 18 May 2017 Posted 18 May 2017 His changing haircuts is something that will always spring to mind. He has had some shockers and you wondered what he said when the hairdresser showed him the final product.
Babylon Posted 18 May 2017 Posted 18 May 2017 5 years... crikey, what an absolute legend that bloke has been for us. United at home x 2, QPR away, West Brom away, Man City and many more.... even the Derby 4-1 at home it really stood out how much his control and link up play had improved.

Is it this one 2nd goal in.

rn9013 Posted 18 May 2017 Posted 18 May 2017 The Fourth goal against United in 2014. I remember watching him run through 1 v 1 in what seemed like very slow motion thinking 'please don't mess this up'. Obviously his record breaking streak in the PL last season too. But also his celebrations in front of opposing fans can be fun to watch too
foxy boxing Posted 18 May 2017 Posted 18 May 2017 he cost a million pounds from Fleetwood,a record for a non league player and for the first few seasons he struggled to get to grips with it all but suddenly the explosion of becoming this incredible player for us. the speed, the passion, the getting up opponents noses and not giving a ****. his rise has been amazing and got him called up for England where he has done well for himself and scored some great goals for England. he is our fox in the box who went on this amazing scoring run of scoring in eleven consecutive Premier League games and the first Leicester player since Gary Lineker to score twenty league goals for the foxes in a season. my favourite goal has to be the goal against Liverpool which just seemed the iceing on the cake to a tremendous season.
foxfanazer Posted 18 May 2017 Posted 18 May 2017 That goal against West Brom where he took the ball off of the defender on the half way line and just ran with it and smashed it in. Crazy scenes!
foxfanazer Posted 18 May 2017 Posted 18 May 2017 Also love his record breaking goal just for the fact that all the players looked over the moon for him. Said a lot about our togetherness

Yes these 2 Posts knitt it up tidely for me,..
OllieLodge96 Posted 18 May 2017 Posted 18 May 2017 Man United home last season clear winner. The goal vs QPR back in the title winning season was also another great memory and a massive goal for us
Finnegan Posted 18 May 2017 Posted 18 May 2017 Always liked him but I fell in love the day he rustled the fvck out of United's jimmies in THAT game. The Rafael incident especially was fantastic. The glory supporting tears.
UniFox21 Posted 18 May 2017 Posted 18 May 2017 The West Brom away goal in the great escape sticks out for for, think I fell a row or so in front celebrating ?

Wymsey Posted 18 May 2017 Posted 18 May 2017 He's the perfect example of a player, initially, that has been quite written-off as being a potential football legend/star due to his background but - with sheer dedication and determination to succeed to reach his potential elite performance that has seen him being one of the most-prized forwards around - it's great to see him develop to such a level over time now and his history up to now also proves to be an inspiration to the hard-working lower-league youngsters that are over-looked by their first ever football coach that don't see any potential in them.
Raw Dykes Posted 18 May 2017 Posted 18 May 2017 What a signing! Took a while to get going, but thank Christ we stuck by him. Possibly my all-time favourite Leicester player.
