Manchester Evening News disagree:

"KELECHI IHEANACHO – the striker is expected to leave this summer with Leicester favourites to land him in a £25million move, so his absence is no great surprise."

Be more inclined to agree with them.

Edit: Yeah actually ignore me, some dips*** decided to rehash an article from back on 5th July. I'l read dates in future.

Anyone got the Forest Echos spin on this?

Yeah, headline says Foxes Talk in Meltdown Over Iheanacho Thread

They go onto say how there is infighting amongst the FT ranks as some people are going really off topic in the Iheanacho thread and half the FT membership love it and half are getting really frustrated. They finish up by saying that this is still more exciting than Forest's close season and they say let's all laugh at Leicester fans. They never won back to back European Cups like we did. #GloryDays

It was a really good idea that was given up on too easily. Surely it could have been made to work? Short term ban for people who posted non-news? Limited access ? Would

be great to make it work as most threads just become same old crappy comments and well-rehearsed arguments.

It probably needs to be done again, but maintained by a group of mods so they can lock the thread and update with the credible links.

That does, however, make it quite onerous on mods - possibly beyond their remit.

Yes. I get that. Appreciate work involved would be significant. To establish it. Would be a quality thread though.

Perspective

he could have gone on the tour trip today

he didnt

he is, therefore, definitely leaving and probably sooner rather than later

we are strong favourites to sign him

barring some completely unforeseen developments (beyond those that were already unforeseen and did develop), he will be signing for us!

Alough pleased that hes stayed in the uk, i hope he is maintaining his fitness levels. This dispute with his agent is obviously not easily rectified otherwise it would have been sorted by now. Im still confident he will be signing, if not in time to join the squad in Hong Kong then in time for the UK friendlies

235 pages of pure excrement

"Seriously shut this down.

And for those of you saying "just don't read it" - jog on. Some of us use the transfer section to get updates/info and opinions of the players involved in the transfer market. What is the point in posting bulls*** apart from making threads within Foxestalk a waste of space? Who gives a toss if this reaches 300 pages??"

Still relevant over 6 years on. lol

To be fair there is a lot of fresh material here too.

I struggle to see why anyone would have a problem with people having a joke on this thread.   Just dont read it mate...as soon as Kelechi is confirmed either way a new thread will appear  in the Leicecter City Forum and this one will be locked.

By fresh material I presume you mean foxestalk slang and not developments in the transfer. In the past, 10 unread pages in the space of 6 hours meant something significant has happened.. I was gonna look to see how many pages we've done in a week but on my phone I can only go one page at a time so sod that, but there has been 8 in the last 24 hours alone. Zilch has happened. With the ITK's on here this place should be a lot easier to keep up to date with progress etc rather than trying to sort through the Indykaila's on Twitter. BBC/Sky Sports take a lot longer to catch on and even publish any of the small bits of info we read on here

But if people have nothing better to do..

Any real solid news will probably be in a google news search, this thread is for wild speculation and bollox. You're just angry that the signing hasnt been announced yet like every other weirdo on here

Exactly. Anything short of an official announcement is going to be speculation to one degree or another. Yes, it can be frustrating to see that a thread has gained several pages and click on it only to discover nothing has happened, but surely it’s something that most people can learn to deal with? For those psychologically ill-equipped to cope with the trauma of clicking on a thread and not finding out anything new, there are more suitable sources of information available than transfer threads on a football forum. Surely it’s better just to look at those rather than have a public tantrum and demand that other people be prevented from posting messages on a message board?
