Honestly reading this shite, your all making much ado about nothing.

It's become a real comedy of errors...

I remember at the beginning of one of the transfer windows Pearson saying that supporters might not hear anything, but plenty would be going on behind the scenes. I imagine that's the case now, and same with the managerial appointments.

Frustrating though.

Am I way off the mark in thinking that it was going to be Shakey it would have been announced by now? If it's just a case of giving him a new contract and discussing expectations for the season then that doesn't need to take 3 weeks of negotiating.

I would have thought it would be the other way around.  I know the club like to keep things under wraps and do their business behind closed doors. But if they have decided that they want to go down a different path they would have put a press release out by now.

it is Shakey but a legal issue has held things up. And I've since been told his solicitor has been out of town. Meaning nothing was going to be signed.

Thanks Sylo. I'd be curious to know what the legal issue is. I'd hazard a guess that this happens all the time in football, behind closed doors.

I am only guessing but would think it's a badly worded contract or an unacceptable clause in it. Then shakeys solicitor has gone on other business before it was re written and told Shakey not to sign it till he's seen it.

As I said that's just a guess.

If sylo is right about solicitor being away (and we have no reason to think he isn't) then the only people who are concerned about this is us! The club and shakey know he is to be the permanent manager. Any targets know. Everyone has been asked to keep it to themselves  until it's publically confirmed.

In fact, until the confirmation comes through, this thread is pretty well redundant!

I'm not the only one that's been told its been held up for a legal issue. Wymesy has been told the same. I've since been told part of it is Shakeys solicitor is away and that's now part of the hold up.

No wonder so many itk get fed up and stop posting on this site.

Do you not think that some people perhaps know but aren't in a position to say anything ?

Maybe they would like to keep their jobs

If my divorce lawyer here in Austria is any thing to go by, Shakey's solicitor is probably in Crewe now checking the colour of his new Rolls.

I think it's more people can't be doing with the sarcasm you get on here. Also when something changes last minute and a deal don't happen the shite people get.
