You can't really judge somebodies ability on them just being decent in the championship

 

Many decent championship players get found out at premiership level, if any wolves fan thinks they can come up and stick with the team they've got next year they are delusional, they'd get absolutely battered

I personally think Wolves current side is better than Swansea, Albion and one or two others at least, credit where it's due.

 

Calling Boly much better than Morgan is still baffling and laughable.

I had a look at Boly's stats. He's played one champions league game. One. I haven't checked but I bet it was that dead rubber against us where we even started Hamer in goal.

 

Also if you check his career trajectory, his first season at Auxerre, barely played, but fair enough, young CB don't generally. Second season, played most weeks but they got relegated. Regular starter in ligue 2 before moving to Braga where he couldn't get a game in his first season and fell out of favour in his third before moving to Porto where played 7 games in all competitions before being packed off to Wolves. I'd say what you've got is a players who looks good on the face of it, but falls away after a while when he's settled and ends up being dropped.

Willy Boly "a Porto player" with "champions league experience" they signed him from Braga where he'd had one half decent season after arriving from the French second division. 

 

He didn't even manage five games for Porto (who finished below us in the CL) before they sacked him off on loan to the second tier of English football to play for a Midlands team nobody outside of England has heard of from a town half the people FROM England haven't heard of.

also he's 26, man i thought he was like 17 considering he's played basically his whole career for B teams or on loan at wolves. what the hell has he been doing for ten years of his career considering he's miles better than any other defender who's played the game.

Cotterill is still chuntering on about losing to us the other night. This time about how they had no shots on goal, but did have blocked shots "on target" but no luck.

“What would be nice to happen is for one of them blocks not to be a really good block.

State of the @The Bear in this thread. You don't come on to a PL team's forum and start declaring your players are better than theirs when you're a lower league team, especially when said players have won the PL title.

 

thought you seemed decent before, but you've truly shown what a clown you are. Try getting promoted and stabilised in the PL before giving it the big guns.

Common guys, he's just excited by the fact that his team (finally) is playing good-looking and quite effective football, as every fan would be in his place.

 

Yes, the players they've bought are of significantly higher level/price than what their competitors have, so it's kinda expected from Wolves to trump the league the way they are doing it now.

Yes, it's quite possible that Wolves will be battered when they're in PL and their best players will be found out.

 

But why personally attack The Bear?

I find his opinion about Boly (and some other examples as well) kinda funny and naive from my perspective, but it's a good laugh, not a reason to insult him.

Some people getting their panties in a right twist because I made a perfectly reasonable suggestion that a player possibly could be better than one of yours. If I'm wrong in 12 months time I'll happily take any stick on the chin.

I only caught the first 40 minutes while I was at work.

 

United should have been up by at least a couple. 

 

I guess that's how it goes when you don't capatilize on your chances.
