Out of interest, does anyone know where you can purchase an OH Leuven shirt? I know they sometimes sell them in the LCFC  fan store but they don’t seem to be available online.

Turn up at OHL on a saturday, theyll give you a shirt, shorts, boots and a run at CM apparently :)

So we've bought a feeder club, fed them Pearson and now they're getting relegated? A very Leicesteresq success story that.

:D Nine out of 28 matches played.

I agree it doesn't look good on paper right now, but the season is far from being over already.

They just announced that KV Mechelen also tried to fix games to secure their place in 1st Division. They approached board members of  Beveren with the help of Dejan Veljkovic to fix their last game (which they won 2-0). Referee Vertenten was also involved. They also tried to fix Antwerp - Eupen.

Believe it or not, Moeskroen isn't mentionted anywhere...

Some drama to break up the tedium of the international break! Do keep us updated Belgian friends. Pearson to root out the corrupt sabateurs. He needs to practice his strangling hands. A manager whose career was nearly ended by a racist orgy and perhaps saved by corruption. Gotta love him.

Well leuven signed one of the players over the summer who was arrested for match fixing, so at least he won't have to travel far to start.

Do you mean Olivier Myny? He wasn't arrested, he was only questioned, just like most (ex)players of Beveren. Their chairman was arrested.

Leicetser manager has them in the top 10 of the Premier League and looks to be developing a real side for the future, but every day more "Puel out" comments.

OHL manager has them bottom and showing (apparently) no clue.. and our NFP fans say give him time. :dunno:

It's because we won the league.

Some old fans think we are so great that we are already big team

Some new fans come just because we win so expect so much

Sauce?

Also, Belgian football is in a right mess right now in general. We have no clue whether recent results were down to truly sportive decisions or whether the bribery scandal has had its effects on the 2nd tier also.

And pushing the "but look, we're in the Premier League Top 10" argument is flawed, as we saw last season how much we did to stay there and how close the opposition were to overtake us, with LCFC potentially slipping down as low as 12th or 13th.

It's again a matter of "one step forward, two steps back" at present.

Yeah but he’ll keep them up miraculously and in comes Ranieri over the summer and they’ll win the league...
