Top six is do-able.

 

Everton will succumb to the pressure of a busy fixture list due to the Europa.

Liverpool will take the CL serious. They won't be able to play their style week in week out.

Spurs will struggle at Wembley, on top of European commitments.

Arsenal always implode.

 

Imo Man Utd, Man City & Chelsea are the most likely to finish in the top four. The other positions are up for grabs. We are definitely a dark horse.

I don't think it's completely beyond us to make the top six, but nor will I kick off if we don't get it.

 

I'm just proud that we're a team who you can genuinely say "write them off at your peril" about. That's exactly what we should be.

But a piece in todays sun has me thinking. All the big guns have Europe up until December. Then the killer some teams could have ten games by the finish of the festive fixtures in a month.

 

With fingers crossed all our sides qualify for the knockouts more games. All this in a condensed season due to some minor event in Russia in the summer.

 

I personally would give up the league cup if we are going well in the league. Just so we don't have a semi final in a packed December.

 

So is it possible we could be pushing hard and finish top six.

Also how long will it be before the big boys are calling for a 30 man squad in our domestic league.

None of the above have been vague wishes and hollow promises. They're honours that pay testimony to who we are and what we've become which is a team and a club to be respected.

 

But to me today's owners, players and staff have shown the way - the challenge now is to extend the journey, write more chapters and make an ever more exciting and extraordinary story,     . 

 

This year, next year, any and or every year for me.       .                

Do you rent a room in my mind to steal my thoughts and right what I want to say . Or are we two of life dreamers and eternal optimists in a fear controlled world. Bring the buglers on Craig and the giant slayers are back. We will win the first four .

We now have a team of battle hardened players who know they can be a match for any side. If the desire is there i dont see  why we cant be up there.

Think that Mahrez will go but if no "big" team comes in for him i think he will be wanting to show them what they missed out on

top six is doable but a number of clubs will think that, look at the gap between 8th and seventeenth last season only six points separated a vast number of clubs!

what we need is consistency and the same surprise factor that won us the Premier League. If we can get off to a good start and just keep going then anything is possible( we've all seen it)

Would be happy with a top 10 finish and a real go at a cup.

 

A simple but decent season would be nice. No sacking, no players refusing to play and no shitty drama.

Heavy investment into our squad could mean getting within 10-15 points of the top 6 and also having a good crack at the cups.

 

If we went into the season with out current squad I'd expect 12-10th.

It's probably a bit early to make this call until we know who is going and coming.

 

but there's no reason we shouldn't do as well as last season if we keep hold of Kasper.  I think the powers that be have learned their lesson from last season and have clearly upped the quality of our targets.

I do think we have team though capable of winning a Cup. So looking forward to a good Cup run.

Wasn't it The Monkees said: "I'm a Believer"? I've never seen City as a makeweight club. I was there in the glory days of the 60s when we challenged for a League and FA Cup double but we're way beyond that now and know we can compete with anyone with the right  attitude and ambition.

I love the fact that people have so much optimism, before our title winning season the idea of winning the title was just a pipe dream, but now the fact we have already achieved the unachievable it makes anything possible.

 

And it's not just Leicester fans either, underdogs from all over the world must look to us and say to themselves if they can do it so can we.

 

Leicester City have become an inspiration.

I'll be happy with top 10 and a good run in both domestic trophies. FA Cup final would be superb but I say that every single season.

Chelsea last season, us the season before, the closest Liverpool got to winning the league was the Gerrard slip season when they had no European football and should have won it. It definitely helps not being in Europe points wise.
