Are people still doubting my opinion that he isn't the right man for the job?

I said it after Spurs last season. It’ll be like Steve McClaren Mk II.

Had Silva came in and some of the midfield situation had changed, things would've been slightly different positively?..

At least we've achieved a clean sheet.

Too tough to call regarding Shakespeare.

Still think he'd struggle to utilise Silva. He seems worryingly short of ideas :(

Thats pretty much where i stand.

Too many people have written Shakey off after too few games against difficult opposition.

#Alwaysoptimistic

Like the optimism but it isn't just from the games this season. There was enough evidence last season to suggest that he wasn't up to it.

I really wish the situation was different but he just isn't a manager and he doesn't cut it at this level in management. Just hope we pull the trigger sooner rather than later.

Time to go back to being a number 2, Appleton can go back to doing whatever he was doing in the lower leagues. Both aren't up to this level.

A different new manager wouldn't be attached to players and actually make them work for their positions. We wouldn't also be playing ****ing pub league football with players on 70k a week.

With much regret I hope you’re right. The Tai’s are quite ruthless.

The problem is that they are not. They have a commendable level of loyalty towards their appointees. Look how they hesitated so long before saying goodbye to Claudio...look how they have not dispensed with whoever has screwed up our transfer policy..

We have no god given right to beat Bournemouth, but for chuffs sake, our football is dreadful, at least if we were playing well I'd be peived but not livid. This is crazy, it's clear we won't improve, for the love of god get rid.

Every single game this season the first half performance has been terrible time for change because it's horrible to watch the potential we have is unreal what we are watching is day light robbery to fans and there hard working money

If he's happy to drop back down to coach then do it, offer it him, but if not then it's a sacking/asking for his resignation please.

More than anything I want the dire transfer team (I'm sure that's not the right phrasing but not sure how else to put it/call them) out though, with those people/that team we're only going one way, I keep saying it and i'm going to keep saying it because something's gotta change, something's gotta give, I just hope fans make their feelings known about Rudkin and his team soon, because you can blame Ranieri, Shakespeare all you like but they had their hands tied by these cunts who are failing window after window.

Doesn't look good. We've been poor away to Huddersfield and Bournemouth.

He could survive and even have us doing well by fundamentally changing the system. It was embarrassing to see Ihenacho and Iborra  getting the ball and looking up and realising there is no one to play it to. We could try either 4-3-3 or 3-5-2 to try and get a bit more on the ball and do something with it. Fundamentally without Kante (and now Drinky) we can't play a 4-4-2 any more. The league has wised up to us.

I fear he persists with the same system the results will continue to be poor and he'll be gone before the next window.

As I posted in the match thread, the clean sheet is the only positive thing about today.

Shakey is left with limited options in midfield but he seems to lack tactical awareness , flexibility or adaptability. Unless we secure 2 wins in October the owners have to consider a change. My preference would be to bring in a tactically adept coach/ manager to work alongside CS but it may require a complete change should performances continue and results reflect that.

Not sure I'd want him as an assistant anymore either. We need a new coaching team with new ideas, and no biases or favouritism for club servants and title winners.

Shakespeare can get a gig in the championship and take Appleton and Stowelly with him - where they belong.

We need to make major changes at the club, players with no motivation,  players with no talent and the best place to start those changes is from the top, we desperately need a new direction,  after winning the  title we weren't be in the position we are now, so why wait,  get a new man in now

Completely agree Nigel,  Hopefully our owners can see a change is needed too

I really hate watching us play now.

When we didnt have the ball in 2015-16 I was thinking... 'well if we nick the ball back now we'll hit them on the break and will create a chance'.

Now... one of Simpson, Morgan, Fuchs or Ndidi just aimlessly clear their lines with no thought of creating an attack and helping Vardy.

Shakespeare has obviously done more than good but its 100% time for him to go now. Theres a world class manager available, go and get him. Lets put that CL & PL winning money to good use rather than spunking it away on players we don't play.

I felt the criticism  of shakey was harsh after an unforgiving start and that it was a bit too knee jerk.

After Huddersfield and today I'm coming round to the mob on this one.

Hell be gone by Christmas if not sooner I would say. Pearson can start planning for his return.

How many difficult games is enough? I only ask because he’s going to fill the season with them if he’s allowed to stay.

I have to agree (sadly) after watching todays game :(

I don't know what's worse - Raineri seeing there's a problem and trying to fix it in a slipshod manner, or this clowns steadfast refusal to admit there's a problem. Sack him now while there's still a season to save.

The criticism of Shakepeare in games where Vardy misses a penalty and Ndidi and Maguire hand them a goal is completely unjustified.

Look at Arsenal... really, really poor in game management.

Huddersfield and Bournemouth are two examples of us being completely outplayed by bottom 5 teams. it's embarrassing.

In half of the games this year he's completely to blame - he picks that negative shit show and seems to build the team around Andy bloody King
