We're not a selling Club anymore, It's time the so called big Clubs realize that.  But I also hope we have him on a 5 year Contract.

Kante? Drinkwater? Mahrez possibly?

If we're calling any club that loses a first xi player a selling club, then who isn't? Even Barca have lost players they'd rather have kept. Its about willingness to do business - we're not planning to sell, so it should take stupid money to even start talking

Selling on average one starting XI player per year isn't being a selling club at all.

Especially as we didn't want to sell Kante (release clause), didn't want to sell Drinky (until Chelsea decided to massively overpay), and don't want to sell Mahrez.

Foot ball supprting isnt reasonable.  Its a rollercoaster of logic.  Right now he is shsping up as a leicester great...   yet if i calm down: only time will tell.  Will he stay when a top six club come knocking?   Will he avoid injury? Will we win sonething with him in the team?

Please don't take Tinceys comment and say something like "people were claiming he's the best we've ever had" next time Maguire makes an error.

Figures bandied around for Van Dijk in the summer were anywhere from 50-60M. If we get near these figures we'll probably sell Maguire. Man City are looking for a CB and Maguire certainly put a good audition infront of Pep in the cup, making some great marauding runs.

Kante never wanted to be here and Drinkwater only wanted to go when it was Chelsea. Look how that turned out for him and we also got stupid money. That deal probably ranks as one of our best ever.

The Club don't want or need to sell our best players now. Obviously if the player wants out then that might change things. At the end of the day every player has his price as Spurs proved with Bale and more recently Pogba.

We have the nucleus of a very good team, it's just a matter of filling certain positions with better quality going forward, Not selling our best players.

I'm afraid Leicester have always been a selling club. The only exception really has been Mahrez, and I think we'd have let him go if the price was right.

I think we'll try our level best to hold onto Maguire (we need to...he's the future of the club and imo, a future England captain), but if there is a bid made for him big enough, he'll leave.

I just hope we can get a couple or three great seasons out of him.

PS. Yes, this is me writing this post. A post praising one of our young stars (as I do Ndidi), when that praise is due.

Every club is a selling club at the right price...…..

i really don't think Leicester want to be a selling club as money isn't the big factor but when a player hears a big club is after him it is hard to to stop him  leaving. Look at what is happening at L'pool.

I’m afraid this is true and some more than others. For instance, never did I think Barcelona would lose Neymar. If Paris can get Neymar away from the Catalonians, Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea will be able to prise Harry from us.

At least, I’d imagine so

We were very lucky that Vardy decided to stay ! We potentially could have lost kante, drink water, vardy & mahrez in the same year !! You can only imagine how southampton supporters feel.

Pretty sure a big bid will be coming in the summer.

Its now highly likely he'll be in the World Cup squad and could

easily have his head turned ... even by the England manager.

Whilst it's not sensible to rate Maguire as a 'legend' (it takes years, surely), I reckon he is the kind of player Guardiola will think he can coach into something really good.

Amazing what he can do up front, isn't it?

a) Use his head to nod it back for Shinji to score.

b) Control it with his chest, do a 180 and fire it across for King to score

c) Connect perfectly on the volley with his right foot and score himself

Plus he's a rock at the back and can surge upfield nonchalantly brushing aside all challenges.

The man is bionic.
