Not just great going forward but defended really well, especially when Watford put their oafs on and started to lump the ball forward.

Class act.

New contract before World Cup please.

Completely agree.

I think he'll have a really good World Cup and I can see him starting centre half alongside stones, then pep pursuing him once the world cups finished.

Are we allowed to get excited about him yet? after peoples initial scares about the odd mistakes he makes, which he'll continue to do as he takes risks; he really seems to have come on leaps and bounds.

It's a real struggle to find clips of him playing recently, but this video from when we played Brighton 5 months ago shows how he's been playing for us consistently of late.

i'm not sure some fans realise the potential player we've got on our hands.

Michael Keane who???

This! Many thought we’d got the short end of the deal getting Maguire instead of Keane but looks like we lucked out

I was excited about him after his first performance. He's immense.

He's improved tremendously this season. Thought his decision making and concentration  were poor at times earlier on but he's gone from strength to strength and is still young.

Destined for the top level with or without us.

I think there has been some dramatic improvement of late, been top class for a couple of months now.

I rate him more than John Stones and the highly-rated centre-backs at Burnley,

It's quite ironic that, since he left there, Hull have been struggling.

Is it just me that is extra excited for the world cup because of Harry Maguire?.. and im never normally excited.

We actually have defenders creating and starting attacks from the back instead of the likes of Jagielka and Cahill.

As of late as in since Morgan got injured? The mistakes seem to have disappeared since Liverpool.

Personally I wouldn't link the two, some of Harry's mistakes were his fault and his alone.

Agreed. Maguire has lost the ball on a couple of occasions doing exactly as highlighted in the Brighton video above and those mistakes have proven costly nearly every time.

I think it's great how he drives forward like that, but it does pose a risk. If his teammates can compensate, then fine, otherwise they probably need a little curtailing in the longer run.

Get to the end of the season and then make him one of the clubs top earners and captain

Watching him a few times last spring as NBC showed relegation six-pointers, I was suprised such a young'n was Hull's captain.

But he was always best on the pitch by some way, and obviously a man who has physical authority, with no need to go out of his way to assert it.

I've no idea if he's yet ready for that role in a club of our size :), but new contracts for him and Ndidi are necessary.

Agreed...No Smoke without fire in my opinion. But the Morgan lovers will say there is no link ;)lol

Disclaimer. I take nothing away from Morgan he is a legend just like every other player from the title winning season.
