After his late mazy run in the cup game against Man City setting up Vardy for a decent chance I fell in love proper!   He leaves his everything on the field. His has defensive lapses for sure, but it is a lot easier to forgive, when he tries bloody hard non-stop. Really hope he stays here and become the legend, that he can be.

Whilst it's not sensible to rate Maguire as a 'legend' (it takes years, surely), I reckon he is the kind of player Guardiola will think he can coach into something really good.

Guardiola turned Stones into a top quality CB. Bear in mind Maguire is nowhere near as erratic and error prone as Stones was before this season. So I have no doubt Maguire can and will be as good as Stones, if not better.

I think I could have Morata in my pocket to be fair, he's rubbish.

He’s in poor form, awful today but not on the whole

Played excellent today. Had Morata in his pocket.

Yep, credit to Maguire - and Dragovic, too. But Morata was a bit of a pansy today, falling to the ground on every occasion available.

Maguire and Drago both played well today but i agree with others that Morata is terrible. If he's worth £60m then you can forget us selling Mahrez for £40m. Genuinely don't see how could be worth £60m. Doesn't work particularly hard, doesn't have a great touch and just throws himself on the floor. Poor mans Slimani ?

Morata keeps displaying why other ‘big clubs’ have looked at him long-term and said ‘nah’

Real Madrid didn’t want to keep him. Juve didn’t want to buy him after the loan spell.

Don’t get me wrong..he’s good on his day. But Costa is much more of a handful than Morata.

I get why Conte wanted to out Costa. Costa is clearly mad.

But Chelsea have really suffered as a result.

Good to see that sort of performance from him today where there’s no errors or mistakes. It’s not just Morata he had to deal with but Hazard too. Spoke very well on 5live post match about defending with 10 men

Juventus didn't have a choice over whether to keep him, he moved there on a weird transfer where Real had an option to buy him back after 2 years. I think Real bought him back solely because they knew they could just sell him on for a profit, because there had been rumours of Arsenal and Chelsea interested and they knew they could "flip" him for some easy money. Real wheeler dealer stuff, very odd. Something we could well encounter with Nacho, although he'll need to get his arse in gear and start fulfilling some of his potential before there's any chance of it happening!

Costa is on a different wavelength but he is 100% footballer when he steps on the pitch. Win at all costs !!

I confess, I would probably have taken Keane over Harry at the time. Though I did think the fee for Harry was more than reasonable .

That's why I try not to be too harsh on our players on here, I obviously know feck all about football.

In this market, he's worth what Van Dijk cost Liverpool to sign.

He's a presence that would be clearly missed had he never came to the club.

Absolutely outstanding. MOTM by a country mile. What a gem!

Can't believe there was a thread and people asking for his head and call him a car crash.

He's turning into the best CB in the Premier League. Clearly a future Captain of Leicester.

I don't even want to talk about value, I just want the Owners to keep adding more talent like Maguire.

MOTM today.

What a player we have on our hands. Early in the season he'd sometimes make errors but he seems to have cut those out. Defends well, great ball distribution and looks like an absolute tank, like Dave the big cvnt who drowns 5 pints before he goes in goal for his Sunday League side. Love this guy.
