Swarles Barkley Posted 16 August 2017 Posted 16 August 2017 limiting ourselves to permanent signings?? cuz harry kane's been alright since he left us
boots60 Posted 16 August 2017 Posted 16 August 2017 Shilton left us to join Stoke to win trophies & get his missus away from Frankie Wortho. Not too much success with Stoke but 125 caps & a couple of European cups makes him the most successful player to leave our club.

foxfanazer Posted 16 August 2017 Posted 16 August 2017 I think Gelson Fernandes went on to play for some decent clubs
Aus Fox Posted 16 August 2017 Posted 16 August 2017 I'll throw Damien Delaney's name into the ring. Went backwards to go forwards but consistently played at the top end of the Championship and a few good seasons in the Premier League, while we sunk to the. Bottom end of the championship and League One.
dogsby Posted 16 August 2017 Posted 16 August 2017 Zeljko kalac ended up at AC Milan.pretty good for a terrible keeper.

TheLittleBigMan Posted 17 August 2017 Posted 17 August 2017 Heskey, Shilton, Lineker, Beckford. You decide.

Inler wasn't getting into our team but plays Champions League football every season at Besiktas now... Frank Sinclair managed to steal a living up until the ripeness of his early forties. Inler moved to Istanbul Basaksehir in the summer. Can't see them getting past Sevilla now.
weller54 Posted 17 August 2017 Posted 17 August 2017 Peter Rodrigues... Went on to lift the FA CUP with Southampton!
DB11 Posted 17 August 2017 Posted 17 August 2017 On the other side Cambiasso's career went downhill after leaving us
foxy boxing Posted 17 August 2017 Posted 17 August 2017 Kante, left us and won the title again with Chelsea Lineker, joined Everton and then Barcelona a lot have left because they thought the grass was greener and it has not always been the case, Joe Mattock is a prime example
Guest Bob Hazels shorts Posted 17 August 2017 Posted 17 August 2017 Based on the level we were at. Don't think we were allowed to see the best of Max Gradel. + he never really made it with us but had a reasonable career- Chris O'Grady. Lots of clubs but has an extensive property portfolio as bought a house at each.
Finnegan Posted 17 August 2017 Posted 17 August 2017 Zsolt Laczko got to the champions league before us. Seriously.
Dr The Singh Posted 17 August 2017 Posted 17 August 2017 Trevor Benjamin, played for 28 other clubs and is the most travelled
