Time to move on and introduce Iborra/Silva. I don't think it's him that's the problem. Try any of our midfield in a 2 against the 'big' teams, who have better players and there are three of them and they will struggle. Its too much to ask. Shakey needs to wake up in this regard and adjust tactics accordingly.

Also I think he deserves his start and will help us pressure early on and hopefully catch them cold.
walkerleeds Posted 3 September 2017 Posted 3 September 2017 Morgan was very good against Man United, why would you drop him?

It's in the Adrien Silva thread the Sporting guy is better informed than I am. I could be wrong, but I think he only has a bruised rib rather than broken? One Sporting fan did say broken, but another later said bruised. Bruised makes more sense with him not having to withdraw from the Portugal squad. But as I said, I may be wrong.

I honestly don't know. If he's injured that badly he shouldn't even been called up and I hope we won't have to wait until december to see him play. We have a cracking team and I want to see it at its fullest potential.

I like the man, but we have younger , fitter, better players who now have the right to try and take his place, Its that hard point we have reached, descision to offload and try to see if we can take ourselves to the next Level,The club have a Duty to give thrir fans a chance to extend the journey, and chase those dreams. He was one of the legends who kicked it off, now he h as to step aside, to see how far it can develope
Buce Posted 4 September 2017 Posted 4 September 2017 It's all on Shakespeare now - he has what is arguably our strongest ever squad. Time to see what he's made of.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 4 September 2017 Posted 4 September 2017 Loss, and Foxestalk goes in meltdown again.

Ted Maul Posted 4 September 2017 Posted 4 September 2017 Can't see us getting a result here. The fixtures computer certainly wasn't kind to us this year (again)
les-tah Posted 4 September 2017 Posted 4 September 2017 we will lose if we play the same predictable team and tactics unfortunately.
Lovejoy Posted 4 September 2017 Posted 4 September 2017 Kasper Simpson; Maguire; Morgan; Chilwell Albrighton; Ndidi; James; Mahrez Slimani; Vardeh

CosbehFox Posted 4 September 2017 Posted 4 September 2017 We will give em a game. Probably even win. Chelsea's selection will be interesting. They have a small squad but have two games a week for the rest of this month. Interested to see who goes upfront with Vardy as all options will have done some travelling the middle of this week.
AlloverthefloorYesNdidi Posted 4 September 2017 Posted 4 September 2017 I dont think i' be happy if we see an unchanged starting 11
m4DD0gg Posted 4 September 2017 Posted 4 September 2017 0-3 Chelsea and a fit as a butchers dog drinkwater appearing off their bench.
Clever Fox Posted 4 September 2017 Posted 4 September 2017 It's another game we're not expected to win, so might be worth giving Gray and Chilwell a run against better opposition. It would give Gray a chance to back up all his talk and help Shakey decide if he's ready to cut loose. Chelsea has been stuttering so far so it might be a chance to catch them off their best. We really do need to try another system as we've become too predictable against the big sides.

So why not try an alternative?
adam Posted 4 September 2017 Posted 4 September 2017 Nacho best start. Get okazaki on the bench please.
