Daniel Craig is a good James Bond, but the films have been a bit crap

2 of his Bond films were good, 2 of them were the worst ever.

Releasing balloons for any reason is just thumbing your nose at the environment and the future.

Gender reveals are the most ludicrous thing in recent memory

Surely that's not an unpopular opinion though?

First part of Skyfall was ok - second half was Home Alone...

There's too much love for Nigel Pearson.

I’m not one to usually jump in to defend Nigel but come on man there isn’t enough love if anything.

Attitudes towards Pearson fascinate me. I'm not sure any manager has split opinions and create debate like he does.

I think it annoys some fans how much other fans like him. It is very odd though as not many sit on the fence re Pearson it’s all or nothing.

I don't understand how any Leicester City fan could not love Nigel Pearson.

We didn't just become an amazing side the day he was sacked and we got Ranieri in.

All of the work done in both of Pearson's stints at Leicester were the foundations for where we are as a club today, both in terms of our team spirit and the ethos of the club - this was only made possible because of our owners but you can just tell they knew Pearson had the same vision for us as they did.

Skyfall and Spectre were his best imo.

Although I don't think they are written as good as they were, not the actors fault.

All true.

At the same time he got a lot wrong, including in his only PL season.

I think he might be our most important ever manager in the way he turned the club around. Which is something of a paradox because I don't think as a manager he'll ever be at the level of O'Neill or Rodgers or possibly even Ranieri.

Missing loads here too. Pearson joined us when we'd just been relegated for the first time. All time low, some players wanting to leave...  and we battered the league. Loads of big clubs spend more than one season there, we were out of there at the first attempt. Then he took that squad, plus a few additions, to 5th in the Championship the following season! (And the Championship was strong that season - Newcastle, WBA, Forest, Cardiff, Blackpool, Swansea, Sheffield Utd, Reading were all decent that season).

Worse things owners did was go behind his back and get Sousa in. Best thing they ever did was get Pearson back. It's all hindsigt but I believe we wouldn't be in the PL without him. Owners can make as much possible as they can but without the right manager it's nothing (see how much they backed Sven and he did fvck all).

Honestly, I love Big Nige as much as the next Big Nige supporter.

But fvck me, the discussion has been done to death and then some. We must have the same argument flare up on here about 20 times a season.

Definitely is.

I love the guy and he's easily top 5 GOAT City managers. I do, however, think he's a one hit wonder. In the same mould of Lambert, Nigel Adkins, Roy Keane etc. The guy is 58 years old and has one promotion to the PL. Ian Holloway and Neil Warnock must have about 3 each, and I don't rate either of them.

This is what I mean.

What is it about NP that stirs debate amongst Leicester fans like nothing else? It's like our own culture war, just for LCFC supporters.

There's a PhD crying out to be written on the subject.
