There is some very funny stuff on twitter, but usually one off tweets. Difficult to sustain what is essentially a single joke over a long time.

I think WUM is one of the lowest forms of wit.

Being sarcastic, I'm fine with. That can be funny but these WUM people are basically just trolls who make the same joke several times a day.

Dan's actually funny in person. I wasn't on twitter when Pussyman Dan was at its most viral so I'm not as in on it as other people. It was weird when people were coming from all over the country to meet him though.

I will happily “support” any other English (or British) football club while they play in Europe.

This was OK back in the day when domestic competition was more equal. Now if another team from your country does well  in Europe it only brings more money their way and makes it more unequal in the domestic league.

I don't know how old you are, but from what I've learnt here I think that maybe an older fans way of thinking. 

 

I'm the same and I think a few others are too, but the younger generations seem to have a different opinion. And by older I mean over 40, just for clarification

Nearly 40, but old before my time.

 

I think maybe it’s because I feel like they are representing “us” eg Britain in some way. (Even if they don’t have many players who are British)

Know nothing about him just see the odd tweet pop up occasionally. He crossed over the road in front of me, looking worse for wear, in Enderby when I was dropping the kids off at school earlier this week.
