Shakey Sacked

Whether you agree with the decision or not, the idiots on the radio saying "they're a mid-table club, what do they expect?" when we're nowhere near ****ing mid-table makes you wonder how they get employed for their insight.
We are literally one win from mid table. It's October. Who the hell is going to want to coach here?

Shaky knew what the end point was going to be but he took the money and had a go with the opportunity presented to him. It hasn't worked out and the club has to move on.

Am assuming a 'big name' will arrive in due course and a shake-up in the back office will then happen over time away from the limelight.

The owners have big ambitions and with there recent experience I suspect they are even more determined

The last time we sacked a manager we got to quarter finals of the Champions League. The time before that we  won the Premier League and another  time when we sacked the manager  we won League One.

That's shite. He's been stitched right up. It's higher where the issues lie. Gutted to be losing one the best coaches we've ever had. Drinky sold and Silva deal ballsed up has cost him his job. Radiculous. Time for rudders to go!!!

Sorry to intrude but there has never been a more obvious disaster waiting to happen....poor sod has been brilliant for us and should have been number 2 here until he retired, now he's gone and ballsed it up and really the clowns in charge should never have let it happen - sad days and a proper backwards step for the club.

What idiot posted on this forum that Shakey was 6/1 to be the next manager to be sacked this morning,

was really tempted but had to go to work and could not get to the Bookies in time ?

Erm .... time to go to the depression thread.

Multiple Choice exam

Only ONE of these options is correct:

A: Highly experienced, successful #1 interviewed and in alignment with management and recruitment.  Ready with pen poised above contract and changes to tactics/XI that fit the roster.

B: Utter shambles.

Surprised by how fastly the owners have acted, despite a poor start to the season.

We've played poorly for the most part, and defensive - especially away from home. Lack of creativity going forward has been pronounced in 4-4-2 and Silva not signing has been the real blow. Whoever comes in, will need to have the capability to change us in terms of playing style and formation. I was hopeful pre-season we'd do well under Shakespeare, recruitment went well in the summer aside from Silva.

Right decision now but really the owners should have not appointed him preseason as we now have lost a great coach too - clear last season that he was probably not the right man and they clear,y were not convinced so the brave decision would have been preseason,

Not read the whole thread but clearly recruitment and football direction is being badly managed so a sword should fall on others too!

Glad the owners have not involved the players some are living on the glory of two years ago so someone who will be strong is a necessity as it may need us ripping the squad up as I would suggest one or two egos need clipping.

Its a tough job as not convinced we have the talent matched with attitude to start performing.....

Just reading somewhere, that kasper old man saying all transfers was nothing to do with Shakespeare, but dof sorts targets and signings, and Shakespeare didn't want nacho.

Don't know if this is bollocks or not, if not true they need to get rid of rudkin because he's an amateur, doing his job badly.

If it's true, they need to get rid of him, as he's an amateur, doing his job badly.

The problems run deeper than an inexperienced manager, start the cull, clear house, bring in people who can do a good job at this level, at all levels of the club,  or this will keep happening.

Sometimes you got to move on, or you end up regressing.

As a coach and manager the team look devoid of ideas and they definitely need some new ideas.

You can't knock the Thais for their investment, rudkin can't take all the responsibility.

iheanacho has gone from one of the hottest young talents in world football when we signed him to having articles written how clubs fans think they dodged a bullet in the space of 2 months.

Time for a proven manager who's not afraid to shake things up and take the club forward. A premier league club in our position should be able to attract a top manager surly.

If it makes you feel better, Rodders, I managed to get my wedge on in time.

We need a new manager with fresh ideas - new to the players - who will take no shit. Give him time to build.

The players have seen off 2 managers inside less than a year . Perhaps they are the problem

sad it didn't work out - many thanks for all of the work in the amazing times - wish you well for the future

if everyone who didn't perform this year was fired we couldn't field a team against Swansea

but you're in charge in football you pay the price

Good for you Buce.

Having lived in Oadby from the age of three to twenty three got nothing against an Oadby bloke making a few bob.

The managers go , the players go , even the bloody owners go ...... but I am afraid we're stuck with it.
