Anyone else thinking as well that there was some player revolt causing this?

That's why they've been kept out of the loop and are kinda pissed off that he's been sacked?

Why do people think we can just grab another teams manager. Tbf I don’t think we look like an attractive prospect at the moment

What are you talking about? Mourinho won't commit to Man Utd because he's coming here. lol

I wonder if he took it meakly or stood up for himself and mentioned the mistakes of A.N.other.

Having said that, Drinky hasn't been fit and available anyway, he'd just be our injured player not Chelsea's, Silva wouldn't be here at all and we would still have been fielding King or Iborra. Still, being the only club to mess up their deadline day work is unforgivable, short of FIFA lying about the timings and details there's no acceptible explanation, someone else has to go for this cock up.

Just had an awful thought, those joint Shakespeare / Pulis scarves, Pulis fawning about how big and impressive a club we are, Shakey being a former WBA player going there as replacement....I feel sick...

Taking sentiment aside, this was always going to be the outcome as Shakey...bluntly wasn't/isn't a manager.

Learning on the job is ok in League 1/2  being a novice, in one of the most demanding leagues in the world....we were only asking for trouble.

As we have seen for a few seasons are recruitment has been nothing short of shambolic.

The Thais and Susan Wealan are business people that can make £££, but still have little footballing knowlegde.

Hence why they are constantly failing, by listening to incompetent aides in Rudkin and Neville, who are taking them for a ride.

The man for the job got shafted and ended up at Everton

The club needs a massive clear out of the deadwood/old Guard behind the scenes and get a new approach and ideas within the club.

This is probably the most Important decision now the Thais are at a crossroads

Get his right top to bottom and the wheels can get back on track and we can push for a top 10 finish and a clear direction of European football as a goal.

Get this wrong and leave the incompetent staff in place with a new face to the media, then flirting with relegation and lower end premiership football will be a thing of the future.

With numerous manager changes and more than likely a revolving door of players and staff

Not quite as bad as Fuchs (Think it was Fuchs). He got a phone call from Pearson who convinced him to sign then Pearson got sacked, Fuchs never actually got to even meet Pearson :giggle:

Our awful recruitment is as much to blame as Shakey for our performances this term. With the exception of Ndidi & Maguire have we improved the team over the last 3 or 4 windows? I think not.

Obviously I don't know for sure but I think cs is glad it's over. Every week he looked more nervous before and after games. I think he like to go back as an assistant being the good guy with the players whereever he ends up. It just seemed the same old cliches every week.

Shame the majority of the team have played like tits this season. Clearly didn't think too much of him.

What did you expect?

"We've gone behind the managers back and have a replacement lined up"

I realise it is standard club statement fare but it is probably accurate in our case. You should be assessing your management options all the time, the new man could walk within a week if he hates it. There should always be a list of potential names to look at for every eventuality.

Everything’s gone tits up since the King of Thailand died. I knew it was a bad omen at the time...

"A great man, a great coach" - I'll go along with that, he didn't say 'manager'.

Sad to see it didn't work out for Shakespeare. I was hoping it would mean a return electric avenue when he took over, and for a while it looked possible, but then it all just petered out. Focus will now be on the players and I fear most of them will not be up to much.

Forget that.......

It all started going wrong when we weren't allowed Rachel threads anymore!!

Whether you agree with the decision or not, the idiots on the radio saying "they're a mid-table club, what do they expect?" when we're nowhere near ****ing mid-table makes you wonder how they get employed for their insight.

Good point, well made old chap. The price we've paid for being all 'PC'.

We're desperate and need to explore all options, so bring her back I say

Makes you wonder what the hell Silva thinks he's joined. Cant play due to a cock up somewhere, club in the bottom 3 and now the manager sacked. Welcome to Leicester my son!

Gutted for Shakespeare, who has been a part of our fantastic journey, but the right decision in my opinion.

In fact, i thought he should have gone after the Bournemouth game, when we had a 2 week break.

I said at the time, it was not going to be if, but when Shakespeare gets the sack, and there was then and is now, no point in scratching along putting off the inevitable.

What i would say, is that he has also been let down by people above him, both in recruitment, and by whoever thought it was a good idea to let Drinkwater go and Mendy go out on loan, without first securing replacements.

Who ever was responsible for the Adrian Silva fiasco should also be sacked, and i`m amazed that they haven`t been!

There seems to be quite a bit not right in important positions at high level at the club, and that also needs addressing, and fast.
