@Alf Bentley get yourself down the KP, the club are going to need a translator.

Thanks for the heads-up but it's more than 20 years since I did any interpreting (the oral stuff).

It's translating (documents) that I do - hence why I'm always here on the PC getting distracted by Foxes Talk!

With Dragovic, Fuchs, Mahrez, Iborra, Ndidi, Slimani, Okazaki and Vardy over half our team don’t speak very good English so I don’t see the language barrier being much of a problem

His English is perfectly understandable.  Everyone is just being massively RACIST!

You're wrong but xenophobic is the word you are looking for, not racist.

I think his 'limited' English means he uses the same words over and over again because he's comfortable with them.

Takes an age to make his point too.

Mmmmm, we'll see....

Wouldn't it be hilarious if he became the best manager we've had in decades. You know one that makes us a decent force in the Prem for several seasons on the trot, not just a one season amazing hit and one that wins the odd cup. One that brings through young talent.......

Unlikely, but amusing based on some comments on here.

He hasn’t been here day to day for about five months

his English will pick up quickly within a couple weeks. He will never be Stephen fry though !

go back and look at claudio’s first presser in july 2015 and then October time - big difference.

It's actually pronounced poon hell

Silent "n"

So it's not a silent 'n' then lol Generally speaking the silent letters are the ones you can't hear.

For some reason I just can't listen to him drone on, I just don't have the patience!

I know the problem is me and not him, hopefully his English will improve once he's spent a little more time back in England but if you listen to his words he's making all the right noises as you'd expect him to.

I'm still quietly optimistic that he will be very good for us (I think this EVERY time we get a new manager).
