Patrick Posted 26 October 2017 Posted 26 October 2017 I was very impressed by what he had to say, personally. Particularly in terms of us building an identity, which suggests that he isn't going to try and emulate the title winning style and is definitely what we've been crying out for. He also seemed to stress that we need to be dynamic, again something we've been lacking and didn't give me the impression that he's going to be the defensive manager the media are making him out to be. Yes, his English isn't great, but that will come with time. I'm sure Vardy will teach him a few phrases

And the other half speak English terribly he will fit right in Viva La Claude Viva La Leicester

Nick Posted 26 October 2017 Posted 26 October 2017 So we have circa 1994 Arsenal Wenger on acid. It'll be fine.

ZeGuy Posted 26 October 2017 Posted 26 October 2017 Some comments are downright embarrassing. Having a dig at someone because he doesn't master a foreign language is one of the most pathetic things to do. Judge the man on his deeds not on how he speaks.

MrLuke Posted 26 October 2017 Posted 26 October 2017 Christ on a bike, I don’t care what he sounds like. I didn’t become a football fan because I was a fan of the post match interview. I’ll be backing our new little boring Frenchman 100%.
m4DD0gg Posted 26 October 2017 Posted 26 October 2017 Good god that was painful. Gone by end of season.
Stadt Posted 26 October 2017 Posted 26 October 2017 I thought Southampton’s were just a bit precious moaning about his interviews but that was a difficult watch. I don’t care about interviews though and I’m positive about the appointment in general

His English is no worse/irratable, than any of the foreign managers, in the PL. So some weird statements knocking around this forum, that just seem to be looking to be totting up, to troll negative statements .I suppose its in some peoples DNA, to be miseable ol' souls through their lives. Only excitement they seem to get....I bet they even complain about their own orgasms, not knowing if they are coming or going..Poor souls might only have an holiday when they bite into a bounty, and space out on a mars bar.
1969 Posted 26 October 2017 Posted 26 October 2017 I understood more than when Jock Wallace was interviewed so what’s the problem?

He obviously means he wishes to make us Leicester supporters happy. The H is silent in French. I wish Puel the best of luck at Leicester. I'm not going to criticize him or anything unless there aren't any good results.

Wymsey Posted 26 October 2017 Posted 26 October 2017 Some fans can complain about anything, even criticise someone who tries to speak in a non-native language, can't they?
