I don't know how this compares with other clubs, but 1 from 7 in the last two seasons doesn't look good to me.

You look around most middle level clubs and they've all wasted huge amounts on players who aren't great. Premier league curse, bang average players now go for £15m, £20, £30m. Good ones you either need to take risks and get in early, then take years to develop them. Or you pay £40m, £50m, £60m for proven top quality, that none of us can afford.

Just look at Everton. :S 

 

And even if you buy a decent £40m premier league player, it still isnt hard evidence he will slot right into your club.

Iv seen more muscle on a chip. Too light weight and slow for the prem. 

 

Still a million times better than King and lard ass.

and a million miles away from being the player we thought he would be. Plays like a 10 year old who has seen some tricks on x-box and wants to do them in a match. Fine at  under  11s, but not in the prem

He's not a number 10, but then again he's not a number 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, he's just crap, bring back kingy who by the way scored today.

At least Silva tries to make some decent plays and get the ball forward instead of constant back-passing and going anonymous for most of the game.

In which way in particular? His pass completion was bang average in that game, at ~70%, lost possession fewer times than Mahrez, but more than James and Ndidi, but was also playing at a more advanced position so is closed down faster. Had more touches than James, and actually ended up trying to interplay with Mahrez more than anything else since he was getting nothing from anyone else. His heatmap shows he spent a relatively long time on the right side.
