KingKoala Posted 4 November 2017 Posted 4 November 2017 I'm worried about Fuchs Maguire relationship.. They don't look like getting along well.
surrifox Posted 4 November 2017 Posted 4 November 2017 Previous seasons draws coming from 2-0 deficit at HT felt much more acceptable . Failing to beat a side with a bunch of championship standard players ( with a couple of exceptions) and a clueless manager after twice leading just feels flat

Ted Maul Posted 4 November 2017 Posted 4 November 2017 Stick for Vardy he should have scored, but he had a good game today. Vardy's goalscoring form has always been a bit streaky, but he was a key player in our side before he found his scoring boots at this level- he turns defence into attack in an instant, and disrupts sides playing out from the back. Defence was the issue today.
st albans fox Posted 4 November 2017 Posted 4 November 2017 2 seasons ago we win that with the same performance. Fine margins
baldeagle Posted 4 November 2017 Posted 4 November 2017 There are three reasons we drew today King Fuchs Maguire
Sunbury Fox Posted 4 November 2017 Posted 4 November 2017 Really decent game, I thought. Felt we were much the better team in general play but our defending, especially on set pieces, makes Liverpool look like the Italian teams of the 70s. Really hope the Iborra injury is not serious. As soon as he went off we looked less composed and more vulnerable as a result.

BUT I am enjoying Puel's Leicester. Got us playing some exciting and incisive football. This is Puels 2nd game....I aint gonna put a downer on any player. At present I would prefer Slimani to Nacho, but no big deal. Mahrez should do this or that...so what!! He and Vardy s re bloody dangerous, and for the 1st time in 8 playing months, we have a dangerous duo, returning to that pair we Seen tear apart defences...Add then Gray, I dont see bottom 5 being a problem. That is/was the 1st target for me. We have been turgid, now we border on the fair-excellent. FTalk posters would do themselves a favour, and not analyse every single mistake, unless we see no learning curve. If our defenders botch it, dont forget then that striker failure, or midfield muff. Fuchs and Maguire, well the whole Bline , have to cut out those silly simple mistakes. Plus who is responsible for corner set up, and having players on the post...That frustrates me more, than the missed chances. We have an International break, I hope that gives Iborra time to recover, then James to come back into the fold. Because I would sideline Shinji, and have Ndidi/Iborra then James in that role Chilwell had. I am also pleased, to see Puel have the nous to play Gray and Mahrez, when I suggested it, a few thought, it wouldnt work...I cant wait to see more of these 2, and hopefully until May. We then get our midfield playing and holding a better line, a top 8-6,will be on the cards. I dont know if its just me, but Nacho when he plays, seems to be just going through the motion, he hasnt Yet shown he wants the ball, and so far is 5yrds too deep when we are attacking. His defensive tackling, is worse than the bad Mahrez attempts. Hes shown glimpses of what might be, he needs a coach on His case...and spend time with him, having sessions with both Vardy and Mahrez with intent.
whoareyaaa Posted 4 November 2017 Posted 4 November 2017 options in the middle are joke only the person who authorised the transfers of DD and Silva can be held responsible

surrifox Posted 4 November 2017 Posted 4 November 2017 We might have people knocking JV but gotta love how he silences the opposition fans when he's running at their defences

I should never underestimate our ability to muck things up from a promising position but that's what makes watching city so addictive

I suggest you check out their equaliser - his job to clear the corner on the near post or drop back to defend it by being the man on the near post. He managed neither - harsh but true

Still, that lack of midfielder was what really changed things, James, being injured & Silva unavailable is costing us!!! Blaming Maguire for the second. Fuch was slow reacting and should've got in front of Crouch.
