Also Mahrez, would nearly have won the game had he passed in the first half. wonder why he didnt? Especially as he played an early pass last week which was match winning

Chico1958 Posted 4 November 2017 Posted 4 November 2017 Ihenacho seems to be taking a lot of stick again.............. Remember he's hasn't got that much playing time under his belt Iborra is coming along nicely, Wilf and him seem to have the midfield covered. Some great saves made by both keepers. After watchng Amartey v Leeds, I think he would have been the better replacement in the Midfield but it didn't happen. 2-2 not shocked really, I'm optimistic for the season after watching the last two games Ps: Before we all jump on Fuchs case, he was the only defender near Crouch for the goal not the ones who should have been
AjcW Posted 4 November 2017 Posted 4 November 2017 Unbeaten in 6 Only lost 1 in 9 in all comps. Could be worse all couldn’t it
dedlock Posted 4 November 2017 Posted 4 November 2017 The loss of Iborra meant we lost the initiative in midfield, it also showed the paucity of our resources in midfield. Other than the Silva farce we should have recruited at least one other quality midfielder. I have nothing against Andy King, he has been a good player for us and loyal. He played ok when he came on but he is not at Iborra’s level. It was a game that we could have won, we had a number of chances that went begging, particularly after the first goal including another for VI which he headed over and one from Shinji. We were undone, once more, by defensive errors, particularly the second goal.
fuchsntf Posted 4 November 2017 Posted 4 November 2017 So this week, foxhaters will get on Maguires case, lets get him kicked out...knee-jerks creates ..."alltime-jerks." oh no wait a minute, if we cant get Maguire pushed out lets try....****** Now some will have the whole team replaced.....!!!! Vardy is the man who permanently pushes the oppo on the backfoot, and actually creates fear, but he misses chances, so its time for him to be dropped..??? Weird thoughts!!!

Devonfox1884 Posted 4 November 2017 Posted 4 November 2017 United and Arsenal have struggled immensely there this season... we went there looked good, and could arguably have taken the three points - a positive game overall even if the result wasn't quite there.

nnfox Posted 4 November 2017 Posted 4 November 2017 Could have been out of sight before they scored their first goal. Iborra was class today - so calm with the ball at his feet, although extra training for him for attacking offensive headers, missed one today and one a week or so ago, he is an absolute giant so if he can add that to his game, he would be a real weapon. Really missed him when he went off. Kasper - what a save at the end! Would have lost without him. Gray had a good game I thought; I'm not sure if Albrighton touched the ball when he came on to replace him. Lots of positives. Away from home, lots of good chances created, on another day we could have had 5 or 6 but wasn't to be today.
UPinCarolina Posted 4 November 2017 Posted 4 November 2017 Throw ol Mcg into midfield and drago at CM?

Ric Flair Posted 4 November 2017 Posted 4 November 2017 Am I the only one who thought Iheanacho looked decent when he came on? Okazaki had been really quiet all game but Iheanacho was a threat. Had Vardy scored that through ball from him we'd have all been tugging in his sandwich.
Reg Vardy Posted 4 November 2017 Posted 4 November 2017 The atmosphere at Stoke has gone. The equaliser had nothing to do with Andy Kings ability We should have won....the very man ( who had a decent game) that is being cited as the reason for a draw should have helped himself to a hat trick A point away (Huddersfield, Bournemouth same) is an excellent point, Unbeaten in six. Stoke is never easy. Slimani didn't get on because Claude needed his first two subs for injuries ( like for like) and speed, work rate (Albrighton) We look like we could finish top ten Can't think of a single performance that was poor

We’ve had little bursts of life now and again that keep us from doing the right thing. Time to replace the lot. I do not think there is a defender worth keeping anymore Bar one or two. So how many then? Is it none, one, or two?
KingsX Posted 4 November 2017 Posted 4 November 2017 Not many teams come into Stoke and create that many high quality chances. Neutrals will have loved watching us today. Still don't like seeing that much of Simpson and Fuchs in the final third. Danny because he's of little use there, Fuchs because Maguire and the CMs aren't covering consistently.
ealingfox Posted 4 November 2017 Posted 4 November 2017 I thought Iheanacho did alright too tbf. Decent performance, at least we are creating chances and looking threatening. Two crap goals to give away tho. Looked the better side throughout today yet could have lost. Thought the tactics were a bit weird first half but then we are not used to a team sitting back against us at their own ground. Mahrez wasn't in the game til the 2nd half but was excellent then. Some great bits from Vardy as well. Ndidi had a good game and so did Iborra. Not surprised to see King getting slated, though I thought he did as many good things as bad today. Sometimes people blame him for not playing a pass that wasn't there. That said he is not what we need atm and we do need more quality in central midfield. The Silva thing has absolutely caned us.

Watch the 1st goal, my 6yo would defend better than Maguire Morgan makes him look good, Need to see Huth back, or Dragovic/Knight Lol, no. Maguire's a starter for a very, very long time. Thank god, Puel doesn't think like the circle jerkers here. You'll never see Huth again other than on the bench.

They had a couple of clear chances and missed them as well. A point against Stoke is an excellent point. The other away games you mentioned were daylight robbery, because we might got a draw whilst being fvcking shit. True. ???? Nope, nope, nope. Albrighton came on for Gray. Nacho for Shinji. I maintain it should have been Slim instead of Nacho. Not that Nacho had a bad game but Slim would have brought more presence in their box. Nacho ain't that fast. At all.
Reg Vardy Posted 4 November 2017 Posted 4 November 2017 Its all about opinion and Claude knows better than you and I
