Vardy gets full 90 mins to impress game in ,game out. Today absolutely did nothing ; yet it's ok to blame a substitute striker that plays for only 35 odd mins. And even managed to find Vardy with a through pass. An opportunity vardy squandered. Though, the commentators chose to elaborate on his exquisite turn lol

No. Just no.

Said it in the match thread, I think he's been poor this season despite the goals.

A bit more clinical in front of goal & a touch better defensively........we'll give someone a hammering.

A couple of weeks ago, we didn't seem capable of playing any sort of possession football & already Puel has changed that.  A few more tweaks here & there, we'll be fine.

Vardy did nothing?

We were watching different games clearly.

Way too negative in here...

We played some of the best stuff in absolute ages. I see huge progress in the Puel way already and is encouraged by it. The feeling today is disappointment, because we played well and maybe should have won that game. The feeling under Ranieri last season and Shaky this season has been the one of pure frustration and despair, when we have looked 2nd best in nearly every game. Heads up everyone, Claude shows promise of guiding us in the right direction again.

Love the attacking passing football long may it continue . Super sexy football. Will take defences lapses can't have everything anyone would think we have won the league. ?

I can't agree with this at all.

If I had time to write why then i would lol

To be continued maybe lol

I'll take that- a draw at Stoke isnt a bad result, and it's important to back wins up with draws rather than losses when you're climbing the table.

Some defensive errors, which I have faith in Puel to sort out. Fuchs is all over the place at the minute though, I think Chilwell could come in at left back when he's fit again.

We created a lot of chances, even when Stoke were sitting back in the first half- that can only be a good sign.

All in all, a very entertaining game which could have gone either way- I'm really enjoying watching us at the minute, so I'm happy enough. Up the City!

Great to see Mahrez back on song. Vardy was excellent. Iborra looked very solid. Gray was excellent first half.

Plenty to be positive about.

Vardy should have been on the scoresheet!!

re Vardy, I don't think we watched the same game. And Iheanacho continues to do very little in his appearances, we have seen him far more than 35 minutes in the aggregate, and has looked like wasted money to this point. I am hopeful Puel can get him going, that being his reputation with younger players, but we need a lot more from him than a quality pass or two.

Agreed. He still played very well though. I'm very surprised by the stick he's getting tbh.

Iborra injury changes the game.

Fuchs and Maguire awful.

This for me.

Were equally at fault for both goals.

Fuchs looked scared to put in a challenge today.

I know it's early days - but Puel looks like a fantastic appointment. I am loving watching us again and feel really optimistic for the first time in a year or so.. Will be interesting to see how we play against Man City for example.

I think he's far better than what he's producing, he's been wasting great positions and glorious chances far too often for my liking.

I'm not sure why Nacho and Wilf are earning people's ire. I thought Wilf created some chances and was nuisance and broke up play well. Nacho is raw but what a talent, ran into space well and looked dangerous.

I will say that Harry and Fuchs had poor games though. Vardy was excellent but if he was in real red-hot form we would have won it. We were the better side but some defensive lapses let us down and in the end we needed Kasper to make some worldies.

If Puel can sort out our defense we really will be pushing for a top 7 or so finish.

Thrilled Gray is starting to show some consistency. He looks set for a long run in the team and I'm thrilled for him.

Well I missed the game, and this thread is confusing.  Some say really unlucky some saw really lucky.

Were you all watching the same game?;)

It's ****ing Foxes Talk - the usual armchair experts and the customary post match kangaroo court - scapegoats old and new.

Good performance overall - if criticism is due then we should have made our chances count in the first half. Saying that, three weeks ago this place was in meltdown over our bland football, lack of creativity an inability to retain possession.  Puel took an offensive philosophy to Stoke today which was encouraging, positive and bold in only his second game in charge.

Vardy, Mahrez and Gray starting together and spearheading the attack is a very positive change.

Puel has some real talent to work with here. I love the hard tackling duo of Iborra and Ndidi - but we still lack that forward impetus out of MF that Drinky offered which we really notice when Okazaki is subbed off and we loose the midfield runner and link play when he drops deep. Perhaps Silva will remedy that, but how we will line up after January is anyone's guess. Something Puel will be evaluating with every game.

I shit on nacho alot but Yeah , Vardy is overrated , This forum is a bit biased , The guy did nothing for 90' but still gets credit for that amazing turn oh wow suure that turn got us like 58 points , we're winning the worldcup

I have to say while I like Jamie , he didn't do anything of use today

I can see Puel going all out attack - Fuchs out for Chilwell, Simpson out for Almartey. Then play Vardy, Iheanacho, Mahrez and Gray up front. Win games 5 - 2. If we do it'll probably be wise to bring Dragovic in for Morgan too.

We're playing Man City next. :schlupp:

We play like today with the high full backs and we'll lose by about 10...

Don't think it will be the case. Can see us in 4-5-1 with Albrighton and Okazaki. Hopefully Iborra's injury is not that bad.
