sdb Posted 16 December 2017 Posted 16 December 2017 Kasper Johnson? Think that's our decent young RB?? Dragovic Maguire Fuchs Amartey King Iborra Gray Ihenacho Slimani I'd only expect Maguire and Kasper to start against Utd. We need Vardy, Mahrez and Shinji on it. Sit back, bully their back 4 and hope Gray produces some magic. ?
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 16 December 2017 Posted 16 December 2017 Struggling to see past a resounding City win . . . . . Which City remains to be seen Strongest team possible please and let’s put up a fight at least 1 2
Clever Fox Posted 16 December 2017 Posted 16 December 2017 A new Day and a new game. Maybe today will be the wake up call we needed. I just hope today's efforts haven't taken to much out of the players. We need more energy in the middle which is why I hope we play Amartey there now that NDiddi is out. A tough challenge no matter who plays, But these are the games that create Hero's. Let's hope he plays for Leicester.

Wonder if the manager intends picking a very similar starting line up and the thought was that we didn't need to play at 100% today to get a result. Palace were pretty shocking against Watford. Clutching at straws!
Number 6 Posted 16 December 2017 Posted 16 December 2017 They also have loads of fixtures so will rotate...got ridiculous back up though. Would like to see Vardy rested and might as well give Nacho a run out. Other than that we need to put out a strong side though, even more so after today.

Whichever team they pick will be a team to win it. They have 2 top quality players in almost every position! They can put out 2 different 11's that could probably win the league
Callabinho Posted 16 December 2017 Posted 16 December 2017 There’s isn’t a team in this league capable of beating them... simple. So just go out there and try and improve the performance, work your socks off and hope they somehow have a shitter.
Gazza M Posted 17 December 2017 Posted 17 December 2017 I think a bit of fatigue kicked in yesterday and maybe some complacency. I would expect 6 or 7 changes and much needed game time to some of the squad. Hamer Amartey Dragovic Maguire Fuchs King Iborra Gray Okazaki Chilwell Ulloa Subs: Jakupovic, Knight, Choudhury, Ndukwu, Albrighton, Iheanacho, Thomas.
woollett the bullet Posted 17 December 2017 Posted 17 December 2017 I suspect that now Pep has got the habit of winning he will be very reluctant to lose any game at the moment. Expecting them to field a strong second string with his 'stars' on the bench just in case.

Admittedly we were slow at the start and probably underestimated the Palace effort. But you can't say the lads didn't try. Especially the second half. But that's football, no too games are ever the same. Our first mistake was the line up. Mentally we were just tired which is a pity because there's a lot of games to go this Month. Lets just hope we get back to winning ways quickly. 2
MCFC Posted 17 December 2017 Posted 17 December 2017 I'd imagine we'll line up something like this: Bravo Danilo Otamendi Mangala Delph Gundogan De Bruyne Foden Bernardo Jesus Sané At the end of the night, I 100% guarantee that City will go through I just hope it'll be Manchester City.

I can't see that team being a match for our reserves. If I was Pep I'd play a strong team, it's another trophy to be won and you can risk rotating a lot more in the league with your lead and your squad players are still more than good enough to still win games.

Micky Posted 17 December 2017 Posted 17 December 2017 We will not be relegated so let's go for it. Full strength.
ramadaone Posted 17 December 2017 Posted 17 December 2017 Can't see any of the kids being involved in this 1

Slimani is the top scorer in the cup. Leicester to win a thrilling match.

reynard Posted 17 December 2017 Posted 17 December 2017 Can't see anything other than a humbling heavy defeat here. We're bound to rest players and even if they do the same their so-called second string would easily bet our first team anyway. In the league game we huffed and puffed and tried hard but created next to nothing whilst they strolled to victory without really having to make any effort. We have 3 really tough league games coming up and after Saturday's pathetic show they are far more important than this game. Vardy need a rest, Mahrez looked shattered at the end of the Palace match and needs a rest.
lcfcsnow Posted 17 December 2017 Posted 17 December 2017 Sad that Slimani got us to the quarter finals but we're going to let Ulloa lead the line and go out with a whimper. 2 1

Shit the bed you are going to win at a canter probably just hope the proper Leicester turn up and give you a game at least
