We didn't lose because of him. We lost cos we were complacent and sloppy.

 

Ndidi dived. 

Iborra pushed the Palace defender.

 

Only thing he got wrong was giving Simpson a yellow for a perfect tackle.

Got them both right probably. But failed in his consistency. If N'didi got booked for simulation, how many times should Zaha have been booked today the amount he threw himself to the ground under no contact? Not to mention the time wasting from their keeper.

 

I don't mind when a referee takes a hard stance but it's got to be consistent in all situations. On that basis he was poor.

 

But it's no excuse for how bad we played. Palace deserved the win

Dive was correct.

Not 100% that he got that wrong ..  Simpson followed through and caught the player ...   borderline intent and right under the refs nose ...     overall he had a good game.

And perhaps the penalty that Albrighton might have conceded. Oh and Zaha should have seen yellow at some point. But our defeat was down to us not him.

Not sure Ndidi's first warranted a yellow but he performed well on the whole.

Actually, Benteke should have been booked early on for upending Schmeichel and it was Simpson who fouled lotus-cheek which warranted Ndidi getting a yellow leading to his red.

i have a few gripes with him today, in the fact Zaha was clearly going down pretty easy and one he should have been booked for in the second half for me, and always Zaha had a bit of a niggle at Simpson in the second half atfer Simpson had cleared the ball(2nd half too)

 

he was a bit inconsistent for me,

Really excelled himself when he allowed Palace to take a quick free kick whilst he was still talking to our defenders. Quick free kicks are one thing, but actively trying to distract the opposition is taking the piss.

Booked Ndidi for fouling Zaha when it was Simpson who two footed him. Ignored countless Zaha dives as well as his lunge on Simpson. Managed to spot Iborra's push but missed the handball in the first half. Should have given Palace a penalty for Albrighton's foul. Sent Ndidi off for a dive which was at worst a push and a fall.

I still think Iborra's goal should have stood. There really wasn't much in that. You see those given week in, week out.

 

We lost because we were shit, but Atkinson was poor. Ref'd as though it's a non-contact sport.

Just remembered Benteke's goal against us at Selhurst Park last season. Nothing wrong with shoving over Benny to head in then, but Iborra touches one of their defenders today and the goal gets disallowed. There really isn't any consistency when it comes to decision making.

Irritates me when fouls get different results depending on which side of half time it is. He gave 0 in the first half and then threw them around like confetti second, Wilf's first was very harsh IMO. Shouldn't be called game management, punishment should fit the offence and visa versa, show consistency so people know the line they shouldn't cross; not just 'oh it's second half now, time for high stakes 45©, brought to you by EA Sports'

 

He has history does the most arrogant man Nigel Pearson had ever met. But really it was a poor performance from the lads even more so, we shouldn't be looking for excuses really - just watch out for egotistical refs in future and play accordingly

Unfortunately the ref hasn't got 10 different view cameras fitted to the top of his head ...    it happened right in front of his line of vision so he had to call a foul ...   we all see ones he misses but if he doesn't see them then he aint going to give them.   Refs and traffic wardens ...    up there in the top 10 most hated jobs/people ...   :)

Like i said in the match thread, N'didi's fall was late and dramatic but McCarthy definitely clipped his ankles. If contact is made how can that be a yellow? It may not be a penalty if the ref deems the contact wasn't strong enough. On top of which Zaha had Atkinson in his pocket. Whenever he fell, he'd look back at him and he'd blow for a foul. They almost had a telepathic communication. The only thing poorer then Atkinson was our performance.

I had a proper arguement with someone at the game who was looking for anything to blame accept Leicester being shite.

 

I got wound up by the crowd moaning at everything anything when a decision rightly or wrongly went against us. Now obviously if it's wrongly I want things to be right but let's be honest, hold our hands up, the referee didn't effect that game for us today.

 

We'd already lost when we never turned up, we never helped ourselves from the start, let's not look for excuses, blaming the referee, let's take abit of responsibility (Not us as fans but the team).

 

We were shit, that is the reason we lost, no anything anyone else did, we didn't turn up.

 

Suck it up, look abit closer to him.

 

Ostriches - unless thousands of people were being ironic, but I know they weren't, they were genuinely blaming the referee as a factor towards us losing. Joke.

He had a good game... Palace are in a false position and Hodgson is doing a good job there it seems like he did at West Brom. Palace have some very good players I was impressed
