Up to there old tricks again, no manager allowed to build anything there. No decent manager should go Watford. Appalling club, be interesting to know if the fans are happy with this.

I went on their forum and the majority seem pleased with it.

Wow really! 10th in the premier league and there not happy lol

So Billic to return to the premier league is that likely?

Without being an expert on Watford, I think it's the correct decision. The club saying he wasn't focused, which is believable after the Everton affair and subsequent run of results. Worth getting rid.

I think Graham Taylor was a big success and well liked and a decent bloke.

Mourinho.

Monk.

Silva.

In recent seasons the 3 managers to have lost their jobs directly after playing us. I think there's one more but can't remember who!

Really?? Comments like this make me laugh.

It shouldn’t be discussed anywhere else as it’s not Leicester related is it?

You could argue Hiddink lol

I am sure someone else did but I can't think who.

10th but look at their form and how many points from relegation they are.

Like us last season they are currently in free fall, we know how it feels and Watford are currently in the same boat.

They are a side capable of playing some seriously good football, yet as soon as Everton cleared stuff up by appointing Big Sam, Silva and Watford turned to shit.

Saying it's because they're 10th is far too simplistic. They're clearly not going to finish that high. I had money on them to go down not long after they beat us. Said at the time that their win over us will be a bit of a one off and it was more because of how much we ****ed up rather than how good they are. They're in absolute freefall and could definitely go down.

It would be hypocritical to say it's a stupid decision especially after many people said the same about us when we sacked Ranieri and then Shakespeare, but both were necessary sackings.

This could be the same and from seeing what a lot of Watford fans have said, although their league standing is alright at the moment, they apparently have a lot of problems that go much deeper.

I don't think its a coincidence that ever since Everton seemingly turned Silva's head their poor form started.

Premier league thread would have sufficed tbf

The owners have seen the slide and want to act now before they think it's too late! They obviously thought things would get much worse so have acted now to try and stem the slide downwards. silva is probably paying now for the fantastic yet unsustainable start they had to the season.

The other former Watford manager, Mazzari (sp?)?

Every year there is one team that seem to be going quite well but then drop off and freefall into the relegation scrap, looks like this years contender is Watford.
