dynamark Posted 15 September 2018 Posted 15 September 2018 There always small scale housing developments in the villages but a large development there is a definite no.The training ground planning rolls of the back of the golf club.LCFC could have gone anywhere and bought a tract of farmland(they didn't) but the existing use with its traffic flow and non agriculture use gets them halfway.
thesilverfox Posted 19 September 2018 Posted 19 September 2018 LCC Highways have now responded, and are happy with the plans. Mr Sidebottom and his neighbours in Seagrave currently booking group trip to Dignitas. 1

Spudulike Posted 19 September 2018 Posted 19 September 2018 So, if the Environment Agency are content with the sewage issues and Highways content with the junction, what's left ?? Newts and Sticklebacks ?? 1

Maybe 40-50 cars a day a few more in the evening. This is correct. I recently stayed near Spurs massive training centre which us actually down a quiet country lane, and there was absolutely no traffic. This is supposed to be one of the largest training centres in Europe and is inside the M25, yet no traffic. Surely the planners would look at similar sites across the UK to see if any issues arise -traffic isn't one of them. 3

LCFC Grounds Team at Sileby Bowls Club - Leicester City’s award winning Grounds Team have begun work to rejuvenate Sileby Bowls Club’s green - The green had fallen into disrepair following a year of poor weather conditions - The Bowls Club is located a short distance from the proposed location for Leicester City’s new state-of-the-art training facility The Sileby Bowls Club, which was formed in 1939, has hosted county and national fixtures in the past but last year’s harsh winter left the green in a poor state. A member of the club wrote to Leicester City to ask if they could help and with the proposed site of the Foxes’ new state-of-the-art training facility just two miles away, the Football Club’s Grounds Staff visited the green for a full assessment. The green had fallen into disrepair following a year of poor weather conditions, but Leicester City’s Grounds Team will continue to provide advice and support on the maintenance of the green. The Grounds Team, who have been nominated for the 2018 IOG SGL ‘Professional Football Grounds Team of the Year’, put together a renovation plan and began work to improve the green last week so that it will be ready for the new season, which begins in April. Once the work has been completed, Leicester City’s Grounds Team will continue to provide advice and support on the maintenance of the green. Leicester City’s new training centre will include facilities for the Club’s First Team, Development Squad and Academy setups, as well as provisions to support the Club’s community programme and its efforts to promote inclusion and sports participation throughout the region. The centre will also include the UK’s first Sports Turf Academy which will be used to train up to 30 students across various sectors of the industry. Leicester City are committed to being a positive presence in the community that we hope to eventually be a part of and look forward to making a genuine impact in the area.” Students will benefit from a multitude of learning opportunities whilst also offering support to local grassroots sports facilities. John Ledwidge, Head Groundsman at Leicester City, said: “We are delighted to be able to extend our support to Sileby Bowls Club. Leicester City are committed to being a positive presence in the community that we hope to eventually be a part of and look forward to making a genuine impact in the area.” During the summer, Filip Benković surprised the participants of LCFC Community Trust’s summer camp at Sileby JFC. The Trust will continue to support grassroots football clubs in the Charnwood Borough as part of its Grassroots Initiative. 1

I used the Tilton crossing on the A47 the other day and that seems to work well with surely a comparable volume of traffic. I wonder if that's the sort of thing the club are going for?

As it turned out, the sad truth was they were actually convinced that beetles were crawling under their skin. Winners don't do drugs. Seagrave residents don't give fuch number one. 1
