foxinsocks Posted 10 February 2018 Posted 10 February 2018 Its 3 5 1 1 Brave Albrightin works back but does diabate? Well find out
The Quick Brown Fox Posted 10 February 2018 Posted 10 February 2018 I like the look of the team, just hope we go at them and not sit back.
kyleolly Posted 10 February 2018 Posted 10 February 2018 I wanted us to play 3-5-2 but I’m worried about Fuchs being at left centre back like last season v chelsea
kingfox Posted 10 February 2018 Posted 10 February 2018 3-5-2, at least Puel has the balls to change it up once in a while. Will probably make no difference though.
nnfox Posted 10 February 2018 Posted 10 February 2018 Set up as 3-5-2, with flexibility to go 4-5-1. Mahrez and Nacho to come off the bench and bag.
yorkie1999 Posted 10 February 2018 Posted 10 February 2018 2 left backs and a left winger only means one thing, we're rotating by 90 degrees, playing across the pitch with 3 quick centre backs.
HighPeakFox Posted 10 February 2018 Posted 10 February 2018 Can only assume Amartey has an injury. Unless hes gone on strike.........
Blanchflower78 Posted 10 February 2018 Posted 10 February 2018 On paper, sensible approach to this one. Fingers crossed. COYB!
StriderHiryu Posted 10 February 2018 Posted 10 February 2018 Puel is brave enough to try something different. Interested to see Ndidi, Silva and James together and how we try to tackle the possession machine that is a Guardiola team. Don’t see us getting anything but hopefully we can actually compete and don’t just see a game with 80-20 possession. 1

Monsell1976 Posted 10 February 2018 Posted 10 February 2018 What’s going on with Iborra, Would prefer to see him playing over James, he moves it to slow, well he’s to slow, we need to press them fast today, and he’s not quick enough, but have to trust puel, he’s done a steady job so far. It would be nice if we take it to Man City, rather than the usual showing to much respect for the big boys, fast counter attack please, and don’t give them time on the ball. 1
lgfualol Posted 10 February 2018 Posted 10 February 2018 Wpuld prefer iborra. More of a threat with set pieces and similar on the pitch. James is allergic to goal attempts
Farrington fox Posted 10 February 2018 Posted 10 February 2018 Well, surprised at that team to say the least.
Tuna Posted 10 February 2018 Author Posted 10 February 2018 I like the look of this side today to be honest.
Dan Posted 10 February 2018 Posted 10 February 2018 3-5-2 it is. I'm quite happy with that. Chilwell I think gets shown up defensively in a four, far more cover for him in a three. He's a bit like Schlupp in a way. Fuchs worries me a bit. This will be interesting.
Larry_LCFC Posted 10 February 2018 Posted 10 February 2018 You look at that team can't help feel like we are going backwards. I like Chillwell but defensively he is a car crash. James starts over Iborra which I struggle to understand and Fuchs is somewhat hit or miss. I really struggle to see goals or creativity in that current team. Hopefully I'm wrong.
Gary Eatfood Posted 10 February 2018 Posted 10 February 2018 I think Ndidi will be instructed to stay on de Bruyne. Give him no space or time. Again Puel's tactical awareness continues to impress. I think we'll run them close today.
