Wpuld prefer iborra. More of a threat with set pieces and similar on the pitch. James is allergic to goal attempts

Iborra much better than James imo ... but Puel does not seem keen on Iborra for some reason.

Get the game done, put up a fight and move on. Don't anticipate anything but a defeat but after today that is Man United and City, Liverpool and Chelsea all done for the season and focus on other games.

Brave change of formation.

It looks defensive.

With Mahrez and Gray on the bench we have flair players in reserve.

Because Iborra has been truly shocking for quite a few games now when he's started that's why.

This sudden James hate is fvcking stupid.

MOTM worthy performance at Chelsea, decent shift against Watford, one dodgy performance against Everton and suddenly he's the new scapegoat.

Idiots.

Absolutely, if he had some fancy Spanish name everyone would be raving mad about him.

Get James out of the starting line up FFS. Slow, Passes backwards, does literally nothing else. Iborra is clearly at least 5 times the player of James.

Is there really need for name calling because some of us have a different opinion on a player.

Why is it hating one player, because somebody rates another more.

Looks like we're going to suffocate space in the middle.

I'm still not sure about Diabate but I suppose he does bring a bit of an X factor.

Puel seems to love the lad. Let's hope he is vindicated.

Diabate looks very raw to me but the fact that Puel rates him ahead of Gray or Iheanacho to do that role is very reassuring if not for today but even long term.

Think Albrighton is key here. He hasn't played RWB for a long time and could be targeted as a weak link, however he rarely lets us down in big games.

Lets fuching win this lads.

Yes there is because this scapegoating is ridiculous.

If he was putting in shit performances week in week out then those certain people would have a point.

Whats with the Iborra love anyway, his passing has been atrocious recently.

Shinji is out injured, and Mahrez has just come back from being a world class twat. We need someone to do a lot of running and I guess Diabate with his "willing to do anything" attitude is worth a shout. Nacho played well last week, but in a game where you don't expect to see much of the ball I see the justification in the selection. Diabate from what I have seen is quite an unselfish player, pretty quick and very eager to impress. Could be a genius move or madness!

The truth is this experiment could turn out to be a disaster, but as this is the third time we are playing them, I like that we are trying something a bit different against them. Match their midfield 3, the deadliest counter attacking striker in the country up top and a wildcard on the bench.

We’ve battled the last two matches against this lot; I see no reason why we won’t have learned something from those performances. I also see no reason why Pep would feel that he needs to change anything, which gives us a chance.

Except, he's not and he hasn't been.

Don't know if anyone already has this, but I'm baggsying the word "Shinjury" to describe Okazaki's absence.
