Frustrating

We gave them way too much respect, they were there for the taking.

Sat back off when we should of been going for the jugular. Lack of substitutions was frustrating again, Chelsea were blowing, we should have attacked with pace.

Diabate on for extra time and we could have won imo.

Here we go with the clichés. Dumbest post of the week.

Oh and before you even react, fck off.

We played okay, but we looked more knackered than them at the start of ET and didn't look like scoring. Not moaning too much, as if we hadn't conceded in ET, we would have gone out on pens which would have been more painful IMO. The commentator said something about Caballero saving the last 7 pens he faced, and we have terrible pen takers.

RB replacement needed, Simpson tries to go forward now under Puel but it's clear why he wasn't doing that before.

Kasper will be hard to drop purely due to his position in the dressing room, shame as he's been terrible this season.

I personally believe that the late subs and choice of subs hurt us. Nacho is not a support striker, either.

I’ve not lost faith in Puel, but I’m concerned that he’s too conservative late in matches.

Prior to the game people were talking about how Chelsea playing in midweek would be a negative for them and of course it was going to be a factor not just physically but also mentally

Bar the goal Vardy did little or nothing . Chelsea’s keeper squeezed up and the space was gone.

Were Chelsea on the ropes not really what they were was tired. Leicester weren’t the better team for me there probably wasn’t a lot in it but when you go into extra time mistakes come about through  mental tiredness as much as physical tiredness and in truth all Chelsea had to do was sit back in a shape and wait for the mistakes and guess what.

Same old story ain't it. Could have had Brizzle in the league cups semis. Been an awful season in reality

You've been awful.!!

Once again, absolutely no need to have a go at the Manager...

Our goalkeeper has yet again let us down

We’ve got a left back who hasn’t got a clue (perhaps a small amount on puels shoulders here...)

Simpson is a good defender but doesn’t work in this system.

Thought it was a really good good game and we were two mistakes away from Wembley. Individual errors not manager error!!!

How can people say we were the better team?  Chelsea barely got out of 2nd gear and Hazard had the night off.  Despite that with a bit more clinical finishing they could have knocked 3 or 4 past us.

How many clear cut chances did we create?

Passing it sideways for 30-40 seconds before losing it trying to lump the ball forwards does not make us the better team.

This is the most alarming thing for me. We can only pass it around the middle of the park, before we get itchy and someone lumps it in. Is this Puels instruction, mind boggling.

He's prem level but just not top half I'm afraid. Maybe it's his confidence problems hindering him.

He lacks any sort of creativity or imagination.

The lack of quality in Chilwell and Simpson relates completely to their final product. Both are keen, energetic, always give you 100%

But to anyone who knows at least a bit about football, their weakness, ironically, lies in exactly the thing that Puel wants them to do...to be able to get forward and to deliver some sort of ball with quality. Whether it be aerially or along the ground, the expectation of an attacking full back is to get in behind and to find either on on-running attacker or an advancing midfielder. Neither can do this with anywhere near enough regularity, so that a main component of how Puel wants us to play, becomes almost redundant.

I’ve said before, if Puel stays as our manager, I expect him to rectify this, on both sides.

The game had Puels hallmark of lethargy stamped all over it. God help us if he's still in charge next season. The errors were in his team selection from the start and his inaction until it was too late. Face it he's bloody awful.

Got to take issue with this today! He had one of his better games today!
