In the light of whu apparently taking the Malaga guy as dof

. . . Could Macia have still gone there but  in his present role as head of recruitment ?

I read they were taking the Malaga bloke as head of recruitment so maybe it's as well as Macia as DoF.

I expect a turbulent year at West Ham. Then again that's their usual.

Two aspects to this story:

With Macia not confirmed as West Ham's DoF, what does it say about our current Director of Football when the Head of Recruitment seeks better opportunities elsewhere after less than two years in charge?

And did the club know about Macia's intentions to switch cities beforehand? Now I wonder whether the club still wants to continue working with a man who on average jumps ship every year or so...

I'm not one for bashing the "ITK's" although I do question the motivations of those who claim to be, when they clearly aren't.

I just find it a bit odd, that's all. Each to their own I guess :dunno:

The poster who posted it as a track record of making claims to be wrong.

And he's signed who for us exactly to care? Maguire and N'didi had both been scouted long before this fella turned up, Diabate was a Puel pick... so.... bothered.

We've had two rather strong transfer windows since his arrival, and he has helped us to build the deepest, most talented squad in the club's history. I'd rather keep him -- why mess with a good thing?
