No idea what we do if either Adrien or Choudhury get injured next week. Sam Hughes or Harry Maguire I guess.


At least Wilfred and Amartey should be back soon.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Albrighton in central midfield. Would be more than happy to see Choudhury start though. He'll only improve with game time and looked great today.

Pleased for Silva if nothing else. Will hopefully cement his place in the Portugal squad for the WC given he is pretty much guaranteed to start every game now.

If Choudry plays next week then he’s got to position himself further forward. In a game where we desperately needed to score a goal he positioned himself almost as a centre back as if it was us protecting the lead.

 

I could see Puel playing 3 in the middle with Albrighton potentially filling in the other CM position (even though he doesn’t convince in the central role) alongside Silva and Choudry. With Choudry to be the enforcer/water carrier.

Think it was more he'd slot in between the 2 cb's as the full backs went forward leaving.

Can you please calm down about choudhury. Are you best mates with him or something ? What did he do apart from look completely out of place ? He made about 2 interceptions and passed the ball sideways. He wasn't amazing and if matty James had they 2nd half you would be slagging him off. You always slag off macquire for some strange reason yet he was better in midfield then your mate. 

 

Please please tell me though, how he looked great ? Ask a Newcastle fan if they think he looked great when he came on and I bet they wouldn't even had realise he was on the pitch.

Funnily enough he was given man of the match. But obviously you know more about football than anyone so I guess that's wrong. Who is Macquire? Never heard of him. If you're talking about Maguire, yeah he needs to improve the defensive side of his game, especially being a centre half.

Obviously not mathematically, but they all look like they are on holiday already, been poor for weeks, and can’t see them picking up more than 6 more points out of the remaining games
