You've got to give Silva time and you've got to reinstate Ndidi. I'd sub Albrighton to give Gray or Diabate some more time. Mahrez and Vardy are as obvious starts. Ian up front with Vardy to give Ian some more time. Assuming Morgan and Simpson are still unbenchable then it's Chilwell and Maguire as the other defenders. I wonder how long Fuchs will want to stay on as the second choice left back... Bring on Hamza if we need defensive reinforcement later in the match. Bring on Barnes if we need some attacking reinforcement.

So it wasn’t Cambiasso who masterminded the great escape after all!

We were supposed to be playing them this Saturday anyway but due them to being in the cup still it had to be re arranged, as well as us having to schedule in a midweek fixture with Arsenal.

All this weekend fixture are being played this week that are in the semis. The fa must have stopped other fixtures being arranged this week. To keep it clear.

Time for the broom to come out and sweep in a new era.

A Goalkeeper (one who is going to be here next year - preferably as no.2)

Johnson (or Albrighton) - I'm presuming that Amartey is still out

Dragovic

Maguire

Chilwell

Ndidi

Choudhury

Diabaté

Silva

Gray

Vardy

Or Iheanacho in as the link man replacing either Gray or Silva.

And thanks for all the fish

Simpson

Morgan

Fuchs

Mahrez

This game really is a must win to even stay close enough to burnley who i’m Predicting will finally slip up against chelski.

we need 3 points mr puel!!!

hope he sets the lads up properly from kickoff to go at saints jugular.  Oh and Morgan needs An injury to take him out for the remaining games.  Bring on Drago

Bearing in mind Puel actually said about the Burnley game 'we made two mistakes' - I wonder if he has the Balls to finally make the changes that a few think he should make?  I think not.

Burnley will beat Chelsea (who will be thinking about Wembley) and may well finish 6th as Arse are more likely to implode than dour Burnley. We have no chance of a top 7 finish and if anything have to fight to hold onto 8th with Newcastle finishing so strong.

We need to be building/trying out for next season in these last few games.

Puel said something along the lines of next season starts now against Southampton so I expect changes.

Could back fire though with the players. There’s already unrest in the camp. Dropping Morgan is a must for me, possibly Simpson as well.

Saints are pitifully bad. Leicester 2 Saints 0.

They only drew at our place after useless t*sser Bobby Madley set up a last-minute goal for Gabbadini.

Isn't it ironic that Southampton, a club of similar stature to us, are looking like being relegated having got rid of a manager who took them to 8th comfortably and a cup final they should have won. We on the other hand are 8th and on the eve of playing Southampton are in just as bad spirits it seems as their fans. WE ARE 8TH AND NOWHERE NEAR RELEGATION we can relax and look to the future, good young players, money, stadium development, yet all you get is sack the manager, we are shit, doom and gloom bollocks. Ok say we sack this guy who has had one winter transfer window, inherited a average ish squad and took us from bottom 3 to top 8, who do we get in them who will do better? Hes trying to get us to play football, to blood younger guys, we should be positive. Yeah Burnley doing great it should be us in 7th, but the pinnacle for them is 6th or 7th we won the league!!!!! Shows what an achievement that was. Cheer up people **** sake

Optimistic about the game tonight. Think we will go at them early and score a few before half time which would be a nice change. Glad ndidi is back and I think silva will score tonight and assist one.

Presuming here that Schmeichel is out injured, I'd give Hamer the pitch time. Think he's decent, cheap, home grown back up and would be content with him getting a new deal. I'd like to see Dragovic back alongside Maguire as captain but I highly doubt Puel will do that.

Iheanacho with a start after a really bight second half at Burnley. Ndidi back is a big boost to team selection issues. Looking for a markedly improved performance from Albrighton and Simpson, although wouldn't be surprised if Diabate took Albrighton's spot tonight.

dead rubber so struggling to get excited for tonight. doing some gardening in the sunshine seems more appealing.

I would like to see Nacho and Fd start tonight but can't see it happening,

I've been totally indifferent about this game all week, but looking forward to it more today- the sun is out and the beer garden awaits. There's just a completely different feel to football and matchdays in the summer.

There's a massive amount riding on it for Saints too, so it's far from a dead rubber. Hopefully we put in a performance!

Whilst I agree with the sentiment, we can't keep going on about the title as a reason to be happy- it was 2 years ago now, and if you don't move forward in football, you get left behind.

Hopefully Puel is the man to take us forward, but he needs to start showing it a bit more. This season can't end with a whimper. If it does, we're going into a massively important summer transfer window with inevitable question marks over the manager and an air of negativity surrounding the club.

Comfortably? I'd contest that.

And yes, as unlikely as it is, we are not completely out of relegation troubles as of yet. We could be by tonight if we finally start to play positive football from the onset again and take the game to Southampton's half FROM THE START.
