On the plus side, Southampton are terrible and they've got a semi final on the weekend. If we don't win this Puel shouldn't bother turning up the next morning.

The league game is more important for them than the semi final.

I just hope we can put a big performance together and give something everyone can cheer about

Nailed on Southampton win. They will sit deep, our sideways passing and wonderful possession football will be as slow and inneffective as usual. First half we will be terrible but we'll rally in the second and Vardy will probably score. 2-1 to them.

They haven't won in 20 games so you just know what is going to happen.

Anything other than victory against these is simply unacceptable.

I totally agree but not sure we can step up. Being safe is a problem and the WC is another. some players are towels on sunbeds. Others are fvck that it may be my only/last WC.

Everyone seems to want to blame Puel. NO our players have a lot to answer for. It really is not just him it's players looking at another picture.

Think this is going to be yet another 1-1 draw at home.

They're leaking goals for fun so watch us have no idea how to break them down.

They'll prioritise this over their cup semi. Welcome to the shambles that English football has become.

Defeat could mean claudes on his way out .If the same display as the last few months have been it shows he'll  never be able to get a reaction from the players. They don't want to play for him and there's  only one way it'll  end.

Over on the Southampton forum, their fans think we are going to win 4-0 lol

No Prem home wins since January. Not good enough. Time to stop the rot. No experiments, no excuses. Sod next season. We beat this relegation-bound rabble 4-1 at their place. Pick the right players, go at them from the start and we should beat them again.

Europe's gone. New target: 50 points. Do it.

CHANGES please Puel

Would like to see something like this... (limited by injuries and genuine lack of depth!)

--------------------------Kasper---------------------------

---------------Amartey--Maguire--Dragovic----------

Albrighton---------------------------------------Chilwell

---------------------Silva-----------Ndidi------------------

-----Mahrez----------------------------------Diabate----

---------------------------Vardy----------------------------

I'm hoping with wingbacks, Mahrez can be freed up to support Vardy more in attack.

BTW why are we playing on a thursday?

Premier League scheduling. No idea why Tuesday or Wednesday wasn't sufficient. I assume something to do with TV

I really want to see Jakupovic in goal this match. Maybe he could be better than what we think? He wasn't bad at Hull City last year.

I don't think it will happen, for the same reason I think Wes and Simpson will start on Thursday, even though they really shouldn't!

I know Kasper is a great shot stopper and has had some amazing performances for us over the seasons, but I do think he makes our life so much harder by not being able to come out and claim crosses like a number of other top keepers can and do. His kicking is also pretty awful.

I'd like us to sign a top replacement for him in the summer, someone who can genuinely be considered a starter over him, not just cover on the odd (injury) occasion.

We're due a bit of luck with converting our chances but we need to start well (easier said than done). With Europe out of the question and Southampton desperate for a win it could be difficult. Whoever gets the first goal will win it.

I would go....

                     Schmikes

Amartey  Maguire  Drag  Chilly

                  Ndidi  Silva

         Mahrez           Albrighton

                       Oky

                     Vardy

Hopefully their need to win will see an open game which should suit us more.

No excuses for not starting on the front foot.

this is what I don't get, people moaning about our attacking play but basically wanting the same attacking players and formation every game
