They will appeal it and it will probably be watered down. All the big clubs get away with it.

this isn’t an FA ban, who also got fined btw, this is a FIFA ban. some big La Liga clubs have also been banned.

This could be the best thing that has happened to Chelsea for a while, if they have to get rid of some of their snakes and then bring through the ridiculous amount of young players they have on loan then they might actually become a respectable club.

What's the reason for having 2 Friday night games tonight?

6 nations in cardiff tomorrow. not sure why the west ham game is on sky and they’ve not just put the cardiff one on instead but you know, that’s sky for you.

in fact i assume its cos millwall are playing at home tomorrow so west ham probably can’t, and with the cup final on sunday they weren’t gonna put it on then either i guess.

Chelsea can appeal the ban which would give them enough timeframe to sign players through the summer transfer window as the appeal case would be resolved after the summer.

Chelsea were fvcked before this ban, but now even more so.

They have a toxic squad, shite manager, uncertainty over abramovich, hazard most likely leaving and now a transfer ban...

Maybe 6th place could be up for grabs next season....

Agree with this. I'd still get rid of some of the toxic shite in their 1st team and like you say, bring all the young lads back from loans. They will be in a transition period for a season or 2 but they will end up much better for it in the long run. At the moment, they are way behind Liverpool and Man City.

Sounds like you are talking about Leicester City.

Chelsea are the biggest culprits for stockpiling players then loaning them out, fully deserve the ban.

Not sure that’s what they’ve been banned for tbh

Transfer ban probably means Sarri sacked and Hazard out - only way I see either staying is if they delay the ban by a window and buy a bunch of players for Sarri's system. I hope they crash and burn... From oil they came and to oil they return.

Well they’re not going to crash and burn because of this are they, that’s just silly.

No, but hopefully some other things happen on top. Like Abramovich is refused to move assets in the UK or something.

people have to remember this is not an FA ban, this is a FIFA ban.... the FA have been fined aswell, which is interesting. FIFA do reduce some bans but they have recently banned some big spanish clubs for the same thing so they are not afraid of banning the ‘ big clubs’

Whatever...Chelsea have a quality choice of players...Their youth system, still better than most.

Though the fine was right, and transfer ban ok..ish,I am sure Chelsea and other culprits had enough about them, knowing

what they were doing,so no real sympathy....but!!!

the "schadensfreude" on hopefull demise of the club seems somewhat OTT

They're still getting Pulisic in the summer and players can still leave so Hazard leaving isn't off the table.

Interesting times for them really, ontop of this faux pas they have Abramovich possibly looking to pass the club on as an asset given he's not allowed to reside in the UK like he was, the restraints on him and the planned stadium upgrade being put on hold. Their team losing status being eviscerated by Man City the other week, Bournemouth before that, manager under a cloud(although mostly his own fault). We've seen mega-clubs rise in these last couple of decades, seldom have they capsized.

Lucky them, they have a Chief Executive and acting Technical Director (DoF) with the experience needed for this type of situation.

Granovskaia was a student at a Moscow school which specialised in music and dance, but offered students no sports.  She started working as Roman Abramovich's PA at his oil company,[3] and later became involved in transfers and contractual dealings for Chelsea FC.[4] Granovskaia was promoted to chief executive of Chelsea FC in 2014.[6]

May you live in interesting times, Chelski fans.   MG.JPG.e2588e64e8b488751e6b850b16b8f006.JPG

didn’t realise quite how bad things at fulham were, pretty sure that’s what ranieri would’ve done to us if we’d kept him that whole season.

can anyone pinpoint the exact moment he lost his marbles?

Things were bad at Fulham before Ranieri became manager
