Nick Posted 19 April 2018 Posted 19 April 2018 Whilst I'd rather we were offering a record fee for Ryan Sessegnon from Fulham we have been linked with Cairney in the last couple of weeks... https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/5973922/newcastle-leicester-tom-cairney-transfer-fulham/
goose2010 Posted 19 April 2018 Posted 19 April 2018 probably one of the best players in the championship. I would take a punt. 1
TheUltimateWinner Posted 19 April 2018 Posted 19 April 2018 Was always class for me on football manager a few years ago. For that reason, gerrimin. 1
woznotwos Posted 19 April 2018 Posted 19 April 2018 Don't know enough to make judgement personally but if Benitez wants him at Newcastle it could be interesting. You'd like to think he'd prefer to play in our squad but Newcastle are a big draw.
Stadt Posted 19 April 2018 Posted 19 April 2018 Him or Maddison I'd be happy with, also looks like Matt Reeves the fitness coach.
General Smuts Posted 19 April 2018 Posted 19 April 2018 There's plenty in the Championship I'd take a look at to be fair. Maddison and Sessegnon are the obvious but Adama Traore and Ollie Watkins are worth a look as well. Diogo Jota and Ruben Neves wouldn't leave Wolves but are also Prem quality 1

There's little point leaving first team football for our reserves. Of course, it would help if Brentford played him as a no.9 rather than on the wing.
coolhandfox Posted 19 April 2018 Posted 19 April 2018 Unproven at this level, after are woeful transfer dealings over the last two summer I'd prefer us to be going in for more proven players at PL level. Too many of our gambles have failed just lately.
Fox92 Posted 19 April 2018 Posted 19 April 2018 Without doubt. Ive said this for the past two seasons. He's class.
Tuna Posted 19 April 2018 Posted 19 April 2018 He's the type of player Sean Dyche would sign for Burnley and he'd turn out to be brilliant. So on that basis gerrimin.

Arriba Los Zorros Posted 19 April 2018 Posted 19 April 2018 Meh. Never too sure about a one-footed attacking midfielder (unless they are in Mahrez level of quality which he isn't), also he's a bit of a highlights player IMO. Same goes for James Maddison, not keen on either of them.

Tielemans63 Posted 19 April 2018 Posted 19 April 2018 A bit too Scottish for my liking. I've had a phobia of Scottish midfielders since the Levein era. 2
Izzetwicked Posted 19 April 2018 Posted 19 April 2018 Yes please - one of the best players in the Championship and exactly the kind of player we need, IMO.
