It won't be half as bad loosing him now that we have Ricardo Pereira on the right side, he's got more creativity in his little toe than Simpson has going forward.

Won't be too unhappy if it' £75m upfront (though I think it' sstill cheap in the current market). If it's £60m with add ons (particularly winning CL) and no player's coming the other way then it's poor business on our part.

Not if we manage to bring in another talented right midfielder (like Elyounossi) and other players (read: midfielders) finally starting to step up and adding more goals and assists to the mix themselves.

We need a more *cough* attacking style of play for that to come to fruition, though....

Problem is if a player has the talent or potential talent to replace mahrez, everyone else will already know about him and he’ll cost a fortune. We need another unknown.

Vichai and Top aren't overly impressed.

Can't see us replacing him. He's in double figures for goals and assists, that's massive.

That’s how spurs felt about Bale. If it’s spent appropriately you can improve a few key areas and end up with a higher quality side. Just got to hope we’ve got a few players close to his ability already lined up.

Which I doubt given it’s LCFC we’re talking about here.

If he doesn't go in this transfer window, he won't go in others thereafter.

Must be going now, surely.

This deal makes so much sense. That's why it won't happen. ;)

We relied too much on him. He's not replaceable as a single player, but if we spend well, we can be a much better team than we were with him and the assists and goals can be spread out more.

Exactly this.
