Why is that funny Stan?

Would it not be possible to have something like 60m for Mahrez and the buy back clause for Iheanacho revoked?

Not having a go, genuinely curious.

Cos it's a totally separate transfer deal.

The transfer clause of one player won't be able to be removed in order to aid a different transfer. I don't think it's contractually possible for it to happen and I don't think Man City will go for it either even if it was.

What about Yarmolenko as a replacement for Riyad? I remember his agent was at our training ground in the summer after we won the league so maybe we have been in contact previously.

Also sign Konoplyanka to play LW

No Russky names. This would be vetoed by the Kit Man.

Hasn't Konoplyanka flopped at Shalke?

There is 24 threads on this 1st page on transfer forum with only and I mean only 1 of them with actual substance to it which is the riyad mahrez leaving to man city thread.

Just people uttering absolute crap!!!

Should re roll all those othe 23 threads into 1 and call it the maybe thread.

You go into grays there banging on about kramaric you go into Evans there banging on about dragovic and vice versa you go into roberts and same again banging on about shaquiri and elouniassi.

Just absolute trash with no sources or nothing.

I hate the transfer window

In all honesty I'm confused how nothing has happened this window with regards to him moving yet, seems too quiet considering everyone seemed to assume their was some sort of deal sorted so that he would come back from exile...

(I just realised that sentence would be extremely hard to repeat with a lisplol ^)

Nacho himself would have a say in it too as it’s most likely part of his contract too. Could be wrong however.

Maybe these things don’t happen in practice for football transfer deals, but generally contracts can be changed with the agreement of all parties involved, so can’t see why this couldn’t happen in practice.

If Leicester and Man City are the only signatories to the contract containing the buyback clause, that contract could be changed simultaneously with the contract selling Mahrez.

What’s the rush?

player on holiday and not required to report for training until end june

if the parties are haggling then they have plenty more time to continue - why make a quick decision that you feel is losing you millions of pounds?  We have been told that there is a deal in principle for him to be sold between the two clubs. That could simply be an acceptance by us that we will sell to Man City if they meet our valuation. suspect the reported 60m/75m number is probably right and there is agents stuff getting in the way with neither side willing to pay this. the mockery reported this a while ago - it wasn’t reported elesewhere so reasonable to assume that tanner hasn’t been told this from a reliable source.

It could be our prospective deal for roberts is also holding things up. He maybe one of a few targets and we are deciding which to go for and are unwilling  to complete the mahrez deal before we have concluded negs on Roberts.

I know many people are impatient in the ‘want it now’ society we have but when it isn’t your money you just have to wait!

Think you may have slightly over analysed that ?

I was simply saying I was surprised he hasn't gone after supposed media aswell as 'ITKs' making out we'd agreed he's definitely off to Man City, I personally don't think that will be the case and there will be a final twist just yet

Me too ! ...   Mardyhez signs for Citeh then the day after goes waterskiing and a Great White bites his foot off ...   Citeh go bonkers and try and renege on the deal but Rudkin holds firm and tells them where to go ...   Rudkin then becomes an instant hero and is given the freedom of the City and an open top bus tour tthrough the centre ...

I do love stories with a happy ending ...

That's how it started, not ended.
