Simpson's not been injured for a while now, didn't get along with Puel. Left out of the squad for personal reasons.

Amartey's been back from injury for about a week or more now.

We've never really been told what went on with Huth, but I doubt he'd have made a difference in our back four.

 

Let's also not forget Puel sent King out on loan in January, plus Slimani and Ulloa.

 

Little to excuse the performances since mid-December 2017.

Puel can’t be trusted, his tactics stink, we have no urgency regardless of score and well the Southampton fans also said the same when they struggled to have a shot under him
