We're one if not the worst premier side this calendar year. Since puel put his crap ideas to affect really. Just utter tosh with this group of players.

Remember Peter Taylor started ok, then tanked, puel is going down the same path.

Wanna risk all the good of the past few years, start again with puel. Change isn't always right, it's change for changes sake here. A few tweaks not a new team and philosophy is all that was required.

44 points is all we're likely to get, only the crap teams in the premier make that a top half finish. In a even league, it's barely above relegation. It's that what we've become? (again)

What a f**king waste of something truly special.

If if we had been fighting for something and the game was in the balance, I’d have been furious about Cresswell not seeing red for grabbing the ball when Vardy was the last man.

As it was, it was just another sigh...

Terrible performance today........

But before people are shitting on Puel, let's take a look at our injury list.

  • Schmeichel
  • Simpson
  • Huth
  • Chilwell
  • Ndidi
  • Amartey
  • Iborra
  • James
  • Okazaki
  • Albrighton suspended.
  • No right back, 1 left back and 1 CM from the senior squad.

Fair point ........but this injury list does not cover the last 19 games.

First home game I've been to in ages. Absolutely woeful. I don't see how Puel stays, I really don't.

and this was better than some.

I'm far more disillusioned than angry. Went to the game knowing full well that we'd lose and put out another performance like that, the mixture of poor tactics, injuries and summer holiday syndrome just makes for tedious viewing at best. Yet another set of fans whom now think their side is actually half decent because they turned us over, join the Newcastle, Crystal Palace and countless others in the club.

For me, it's not about points nor about form. For me, it's that we are playing clueless, negative and unattractive football. The players don't look as they know how to be playing. They look as though they're playing some kind of training ground 'keep ball' exercise (and effing that up too). There is nothing creative happening in the final 3rd.  The players look as though they're trying to put a plan into action but it's simply not working... and I can only blame the manager for that. It's a crap plan.

We are the worse team in the Premiership....sadly a fact.

No we are not - at least three worse over the season or we would have been relegated. Current form we are dreadful no doubt about it. What makes me sick is the lack of effort.

Think you’re being generous to choudhury. For me he positions himself behind the full backs and closer to Morgan, a safe place where he can wall pass for eternity.

Pretty abysmal,  tactics and individual performances.

The small positives, Benny didn’t go in two footed on anyone and get sent off. Fuchs looked better than Chilwell and Hamer looked ok.

So it's not a fact yet, but it will possibly be a fact in the future? ?

No that's not what I said.  It may be a fact, if you want to look back over 12 games rather than 6, but I think it is very likely that we lose our next two games to compound our form misery.  If you look over the last 4 games we've lost the lot so you can't get worse than that!

It's not just statistics though is it?  Who can you name that is playing worse than us?  Who looks more apathetic than us?  Who looks more neutered going forward?  Who else gets battered 5-0 at Palace?

I agree with the poster that said that we are the worst team in the league.  We are like a big blue fruit machine that keeps paying out three points to anyone who wants to play.

The only positive for me is that Stoke got relagated

Mahrez’s head is already at his next club.

Morgan’s race is run.

Benny is not a right back.

Maguire is not a centre mid.

Vardy is soooo isolated. Especially today.

We desperately need a NUMBER 10 FFS!!

Hamer is garbage.

My major worry is two fold:

1. Regardless of any changes to staff or players, form tends to carry on through and crosses over from season to season. I think next season is going to be a tough gig.

2. Will key players like Schmeichel, Vardy, Maguire want to stick around for anymore of this transitional bullshit? - I know I wouldn’t tbh.

I've defended him so far, his vision is correct - anyone calling for the return of the title winning style is a fool, that has long been found out, we need to evolve to a better footballing side, we cold cocked teams that season. Similarly, i like the notion of bringing through youth - chilwell becoming established, choudarys breakthrough and Gray getting more of a chance (even if he's turned out to mostly flatter to deceive). But, he's clearly lost the players (even if some need to be binned off anyway) and now the crowd as well - boos and cries of "don't know what you're doing" midmatch? That's game over for a manager. His vision is correct but it's clear now it needs someone else to execute it.

I think we'd have to agree to disagree on that one, my heart drops whenever I see him coming off his line.

What you saw a Leicester player move...or was that just the halftime and fulltime whistle.

Hamer the Hammer, quickest City player.....No!! only player that moved.

well its just me then, he made 3 errors within the first 7 mins of the game today

on the game, not surprised we was bloody useless and the sooner Puel and some of the half hearted players go the better

And Peter Taylor had a summer transfer window and a lot of money (relatively) to spend.

Just like Claud.

Maybe.

His 'vision' isn't correct though. Im fed up of fans saying this shite. Possession football is not the way.

what style do Burnley play?

what style do Man U play?

what style do Liverpool play?

what style do Chelsea play?

thats right counter attack, the only ones who play possession football well is Man City and that's because they have world class technical players in every position.

To be pedantic, while we have not been the worst over the season, as you say, we probably have been the worst over the past 3 months....which really doesn't bode well for 18-19, unless something changes dramatically for the better (e.g. summer signings).

I'm sure most of the players DO care about playing so badly, but in the team as currently set up they seem clueless as to what they can do about it. So it seems as if they're just going through the motions.

The worst thing for me is that we so rarely look like scoring or even creating a chance.

An aging, deteriorating defence....near zero creativity or penetration.....near zero threat from long-shots or set-pieces.....and near zero chances from open play: that sums us up in recent matches.

We currently look like relegation fodder - and have a summer to lay the foundations to put that right, somehow or other.

I know that's not what you said, and I loosely agree with you. I know we look pretty apathetic, and I think we definitely don't look bothered. I can't agree that we are the worst team in the Prem though, when I watched Stoke get relegated earlier. But I do understand the point.

When you take off one of the most promising players on the pitch then that will happen especially now when people feel how they feel about Puel
