He's kept a Championship squad in the Prem by the skin of their teeth, despite the worst goal differential outside of Stoke.  Impressive given their resources.  But does that map to where we want to go?

Pay Benitez’s release clause & get him here.... £6m might sound a lot to pay for a manager but if you look at it from a player perspective it’s nothing.... Puel has got to go. Doesn’t matter whether he’s had a summer with his players or not. It’s getting worse & worse by the game. I certainly don’t trust him with potentially the biggest overhaul needed in our squad for years.

Benitez is the kind of manager who will take authority of the dressing room. If they don’t like it he will f**k them off, simple. That’s the kind of manager we need in our dressing room. I don’t care what the name is in the dressing room it’s about time we got a manager who demands respect & the players listen.

I honestly don’t believe we’ve had that since Pearson left us.

I would even go as far as saying I don’t care what type of football we play. It’s about time we get someone with authority in charge & get back to the team who’s renowned for playing with there hearts in the sleeves.

It’s all just not good enough, it’s time for a big overhaul in management & player personnel.

Post of the season. ****ing get him in.

I do not mind Hughton but I just get an impression that he looks like the sort who can get walked over by players quite easily.   We really need someone who can take the dressing room by the fist and command respect immediately.

That's what the employees of Los Pollos Hermanos thought of Gustavo Fring. Little did they know...I don't think Hughton would take any crap.

I was calling for Wagner before start of season but he's made some strange decisions in matches with Huddersfield

To be honest it seems to be every single manager.

I can't remember a manager that hasn't made decisions fans questioned whether it be united or stoke. Not sure why they always do those sort of things, pray it works then pretend they meant it?

It’s early I know....

But I mis-read the title as waiting for Wenger

Anybody else wondering if we are just waiting for Huddersfield’s position to be resolved before approaching their manager? We know it’s been widely reported that Wagner was Rudkin first choice prior to CP’s appointment...

Shouldnt that be exactly the reason we should NOT go for him

Fickle fans and senior players who throw their dummy out when they want, nah he'll get his P45 by Christmas.

The only mansger who can take on these sanctimonious tools is Rafa.

To be honest mate, I'm not sure he will have. I think Huddersfield are going to be the ones that drop in to the bottom 3 on the last day. They've got a brutal run-in and no form.

I like Wagner but I think he's been found out a bit this year. I'm not saying he's not a good manager, just not for us if we're serious about doing something significant.

I think of him everytime I see the name!

This is still one of my favourite videos on YouTube. Guaranteed to bring a smile...

I'd rather go for Hughton (if we're looking at PL managers).

Yep! And he can bring Gros with him too! ?

He doesn't have a huge amount of expectation at Huddersfield either. If they are relegated I doubt there'll be many calls for his head or a tough atmosphere, he overachieved last season so will have credit in the bank.

In many ways, we are a much tougher job.

I Wagner did come he could bring Mooy with him - wouldn’t do any harm to our number 10 issue.

He had Ben Chilwell on loan at Huddersfield and taught him everything he knows, so imagine Chilwell would get in the side every week, cue Foxestalk going into meltdown slating Chilwell after every game.

Didn’t he spend time on their bench during their worst run?

Same answer for both for me, would have had them in a shot early in the season but now I’m not so sure.

I think both would suit us. Just my opinion.
