Cant see how we dont go down. If Vardy suddenly cant score anymore or loses some pace we are ****ed as Mahrez usually is our only other scorer, and he'll be off as fast as poss.

I dont think most our players have what it takes to fight anymore. Wages, doing the impossible and off the pitch ventures seem to have made them lose their focus or desire. The new players seem to have come into a club where it feels like the players don't want to have a togetherness, other than a few groups. Iborra said as much. It must be a bit depressing, this is why I think a lot of the new lot struggle.

This is becoming repetitive now.

old manager does shit.

new manager in

does good for 9 games

does shit for the rest of the season

we back him in window

end up sacking him and cycle repeats

Honestly we need a mega clearout, Rudkin, Manager,  Players, Recruiting staff the lot all have underperformed to degree over the last two seasons.

I know it's risky but it already seems like we're on the slide to a relegation fight (hopefully we will put up a fight!) next season.

spot on for me, i thought that yesterday tbh, certain players looked like they coudnt be arsed with it, none of the fight or anything,

the club since winning the league has frankly got too big for its boots and has gone down hill and is in a mess, from top to bottom for me

and the only way i can see us going unless something is done at the club, if not the only way is heading down to the championship

There is something very very wrong with the recruitment side and the selection policy of the clubs managers. We couldn't have got it more wrong after winning the league. The strongest position a club can be in to recruit from. Nobody as ever been made accountable for this failure. Poor managers, poor recruitment, poor long term strategy. Over rewarding and pampering the players. The Silva debacle. It has all now come to head.

I will be Fuching furious if we end up in some Micky mouse tour at the end of July in pre season. What these buggers need is a rest to get this out of the system and then from July 1st we go again with intense training, plenty of friendlies v UK opposition and a pattern of play that suits our players that can be drilled in. I would:

Sack Puel, Planque, Appleton and Stowell. Get the new boss in ASAP. Maybe Marco Silva. Get his own staff in.

Sack Rudkin. We don't need a director of football. Needs to be held accountable.

Get rid or loan out players we don't need or having a bad influence.

Make Harry Maguire club captain.

I backed Puel wanted him to succeed but he's lost the respect of the dressing room and fans he's a dead man walking, the only reason i want him to stay now is because i know he will try and get rid of the shit in the summer and if we get a new manager he wont have time to "Assess" the players we have and be plagued with most of them next season as well.

Biggest mistake was appointing Puel in the first place. Same as Cystal Palace appointing Frank De Boer. Seeking too much change too soon. Wasn't that much wrong when Ranieri/Shakespeare were moved on but now the situation is red alert.

I’m sure Puel has a vision.  He needs to explain it, the players he needs for it and the players who need to move on.  If the chairman doesn’t buy into it then he should be sacked.

I’d honestly play the youth team against Spurs anyone who actually gives a sh1t about the club.

Can see season tickets being down next season if Puel is still manager guarneteed

It's an excellent point, possibly worthy of its own thread. I'm not exactly aware of how the ST's renewall works, presumabley there's a window coming up soon where you have a deadline to retain your favoured seat. At the very least what if everyone retaining left it to the end of the deadline period to send a message to the club without damaging the clubs revenue streams too much. Aside from the unfortunate bereavements, aging and drop of personal incomes which result in seats becoming available it will be interesting to see how many others do not renew, they might not neccesarily be walking away but becoming members instead. The problem is (albeit with stadium expansion pending) if you don't renew because of Puel, miss the deadline then see Rafa Benitez arrive with some quality signings it will be a big "doh" moment. It's about keeping faith and being in it for the highs and the lows but it's a great question - would you spend several hundred pounds on a Claude Puel team season ticket? At the moment the thought of more of the same is extremely unappetising.

Just wondering how long you have supported us for.

Yes, just where do we go from here? Have the board really given Puel their full backing, or is it just until the end of the season?

I just pray that he wont be here next season, If he remains, then we will have problems; big problems!

Sean Dyche as manager. Vardy out, and replaced by two attacking strikers, the two best in the Championship. Plus the two best attacking midfielders from the Championship. Plus the best two attacking defenders from the Championship. Proven players from the English league.

Trouble is we wouldn't get Neves or Sessegnon.  Even more depressing, I don't think we could even attract Dyche now.

Relegation.

Puel will more than likely get sacked. Our pathetic recruitment team will bring in a new manager who they probably haven't looked into enough. A few new players will come in, not enough as we need a lot of new players. Bottom half by Christmas. Manager will get sacked. And we'll go around in circles again until we go down.

The cycle of endless manager changes leaving a pool of players signed by different managers for different systems is always going to end badly - just ask Sunderland

We must get the best proven players available we can get from the Championship. We can't take chances anymore. We need proven attacking players, up front, midfield, and defence. The best attacking players available, from the Championship. We don't want overpriced Premiership has beens, we want young keen, Championship attackers.

Agree with this.  Instead of blowing ridiculous amounts of money on players from outside England who can't adjust to the Premier League, identify some guys in the Championship who can add quality depth to the roster and overpay to get them - with an accent on grit because this team is starting to lack it.   And totally agree - stay away from PL has-beens and cast offs hoping your manager and squeeze something out of them.  They're cast-offs for a reason and . you'll get a better return on your money - assuming you have decent scouting.

You've got a financial advantage so use it where you're only competing against lower tier PL clubs and not the big clubs.  You won't find stars but it may enable you to weed out the crap on the roster and replace it with guys who are at least going to go out and compete when called upon.
