I guess Enzo sees him as the perfect squad player at either level over the next couple of years.

Also means we can a get a fee for him if we sell in a couple of years time I guess…

This club just doesn’t learn, does it?

Decent championship back up but not anywhere near premier league level.

You say that but he was decent PL back up for a number of years we were successful until the whole club fell apart under Rodgers…

Be interesting to find out if this was a club decision or an Enzo decision (although seems a few people have already made their minds up)

Enzo seems to quite like him, he wouldn't trust him to play in that Ricardo role if he didn't think he had the technical ability for it

Looks more like Faes from the picture to me

Blimey, was it you who wrote 4 years on the contract as well?

That was the idea this summer but Watford didn't rate him enough to fork out the fee.

There must something in the water in Leicestershire as reading this forum you'd be forgiven for wondering why Man City aren't looking to sign him as Rodri's back up.

That's because Rodgers was to blame for everything, and the players don't need to take any responsibility for the past two years..apparently.

They are now all world beaters, if you haven't realised!

Looks like even if they did want to keep him, which they might have for all we know, they couldn't afford it

£2m spent, a few frees and loans shows they were never going to spend £6m on Hamza

Never learn do we had the chance to get rid at the end of the season and now we’re stuck with him for for another 4 years

So many of our fans apparently know better than the manager who has just delivered nine wins out of ten and whose coaching ability has already been demonstrated with the complete transformation of Ndidi. Personally I'm happy to trust Enzo's judgment on this one.

The guy is living my dream. Go on son! Some people would prefer spending £15m on a poorer version of Hamza because of youtube clips from an easier league.

The guy is still learning and clearly rated. He's a leader too. He's the kind of player you want when your backs against the wall and you need to grind out a result. He knows his weaknesses but his strengths aren't easy to find. Worth it.

He has a lot of raw materials to be a good player.

We may just have a manager who can bring out the best in him.

Whilst I would love us to buy lots of new players, we have six players first team out of contract in the summer and 4 loan players who will be going back to their parent clubs.

That's ten players we need to recruit at a minimum. We don't have a bottomless pit of money.

Barely good enough for the Championship.

Nowhere near good enough for the PL.

First line is very harsh
