Bolton winning at WBA. Surprised with that but I did think Moore would struggle, potentially sacked, this season. Still early days though.

you can't beat top class commentary from Don Goodman...

you have to be able to win games to get promotion out of this league

Cheers for that.

Didn't mind the Channel 5 one with Colin Murray presenting it, as it was well-run imo.

Same programme and presenters, just on Quest instead.

This game is shit. Nothing happening. No goal attempts, no close chances, not much good football

Thought the second half was excellent

I remember those first Saturdays in the championship. A truly wonderful pre kick off experience with shirts, beer sunshine and optimism.

And it was countrywide with every club fan thinking new start; this is our year. It wasn't as if any other team had a million billion squillion spent on players before kickoff. The dream started today. Great days.

I wouldn't go as far as excellent but it was stark contrast to the first half where nothing happened lol

Great post, I agree. Really enjoyed watching the TV games unfold today.

Lots of Forest fans getting quite excited about their chances this season.

Spent a lot of money, sold 23,000 ST's and generally feeling pretty chipper about things.

So let's all hope they get relegated :)

I reckon it'll end up being like Leicester under Sven, all the hype with names coming in and the big bucks being spent, but come end of the day all they've done is paid over the odd prices for average championship players.

Stoke’s team really strong for that level. Would rather them beat Leeds but interesting to see how Leeds get on in the early months.

Interesting match to start the season.

Bloody hell! I moan about Puel's interviews, Marco Bielsa's interview was quite honestly one of the weirdest and hardest to follow i've ever seen.

The whispering was weird instead of just talking to his translator.

That's going to be on football's funniest moments next year 100%

Some lovely stuff from Leeds! Bielsa done well to get them looking like this so quickly.
