Think Vardy would be great for this.

Sterling - Vardy - Lingard would be a great front line.

Kane hasnt done much so far, but no doubt he will pop up with a goal and take all the credit and hoddle love-in.

right on cue lol

One thing I’ll say for Kane, absolutely mammoth power in his shot with little to no leg swing lol unbelievable how hard he can hit the ball in almost any position without any space. Mouth breather though lol

I looked at their squad pre game and thought it looked decent...

Well as far as I’m concerned now I’m an official Harry Kane fan, at least until the end of July or if he won’t pass to Vardy if they play together!

Have these Nigerian players ever played together before?

Their defense is dodgy as fvck and they're disjointed up front, too.

Yeh you’re right though still, I’d love to see Vardy more, team never passes to him though. Nor do we play to suit him :(

It's a travesty he's in the squad, but if Alli starts at the world cup someone needs shooting. He's been awful all season and he's been awful tonight. Don't think he's completed one pass. Movements been ok, but his use of the ball is terrible.

Best 45 mins I’ve seen us play in a long time. In complete control

If Sterling had as much brain as he has ability we'd be 5 or 6 up by now. I was going to say Nigeria's keeper was half decent until Kane's goal  lol .

Yes but don't forget about his "telepathic" link to Harry Kane lol

He plays for Spurs, therefore he’s an automatic choice!

Nigeria have been terrible, thought they'd be the wildcard pick to go further than people expect.

Good half. Few thoughts.

1) If we're going to play two up top Sterling is not reliable enough in front of goal.

2) We need an out-and-out left footed wingback, there's already going to be a lot of players in central areas and Young wants to go inside everytime.

3) The centrebacks and keeper look really comfortable, admittedly against poor opposition.

4) Think we look less balanced without another proper centre mid, we might well struggle if one of Dier and Henderson gets injured.
