Yeah, but it's Suarez... still, I do hope he does a bit better. Definitely needs to close Suarez down quicker. I'd imagine Uruguay will be targeting him - with him just coming in to the starting lineup.

Adrien Silva look a real tidy player, he keeps the Portuguese midfield ticking over.

tell you what i don't know why Silva didn't get the playing time last season. 

 

He's clearly a first class player and is showing great link up and long passing ability already in this game. 

 

Needs to play for us next year imo alongside Ndidi

Looks a tad nervous in his defensive positioning and when/when not to get forward.

lets hope we play 352 and looks like that will suit him.

think we can get him a bit fitter and thinner as well

If we’re not going to 3 at the back then I’d be worried.

 

Still only half an hour into his first game at the World Cup though so can’t say too much!

Silva has looked good in Russia. Hoping he settles in properly next season and does well, though it would be very LCFC for him to struggle!

Portugal doing their best Puel Leicester impression in this one. Plenty of possession but too slow and ponderous in the final third.
