Belgium vs. England - The race for 3rd spot (14th of July)

Recommended Posts

Englands midfield is very poor,no in or forsite.

Sterling and Delph, just downright poor on the Front foot.

No Initiative From Front 5.

Sterling 4 pathetic games...where Welbeck or Vardy, would do more  When pushing forward.

Dier,bring legt with no support...

Fixed.

I do agree with that tbf but can also see why he had been picked in previous games. Does bring others in to the game quite well, but today there was no point in picking him and he has been poor. Almost as if he is only being picked as Gareth is desperate for him to score, which is just weird.

Loftus Cheek has done more already than Alli in most of the games. I think Rose has been poor. If Chilwell ups his game then there isn't much competition for the left back spot.

Get the lads home and stop wasting time playing in this charade lol

This is valuable experience for them Shep and is a lot, lot more benefit than a mid season friendly ...    and as some have said we haven’t really played a good team yet ...   Belgium are good.      A strong showing here will give Southgate a solid base to work from ...    lose miserably and it’s back to the fookin drawing board ! ...     Mr Alladyce ! ..   Mr Alladyce  !!! ...     :)

Not really in it so far - maybe not a surprise given the two teams .

Since it's half-time, what is your opinion regarding the demise of Odion Ighalo? Playing in China seems to have hastened this.
