I do agree with that tbf but can also see why he had been picked in previous games. Does bring others in to the game quite well, but today there was no point in picking him and he has been poor. Almost as if he is only being picked as Gareth is desperate for him to score, which is just weird.

Bit of mixed bag. 10 minutes they played well but largely Belgium. You can see from a lot of England’s lack of recovery runs, they don’t really want to be there

Maguire only England standout, everyone else looking pretty bad, still no midfield with the back three getting exposed regularly. Hesitancy as soon as we get out of our own half, sloppy play. Not good.

I thought our defence would be the weak link in this team, I was wrong our midfield is woeful.
